Hi Tom, The kit is very good and easy to assemble. As i was one of the first to build this kit i had to do modifications to the build in several places. The fire wall box top corners were hitting the engine cowl on the front top corners, therefore i had to slope the top of the box at a greater angle. This is just a small example. Not built the Ziroli kit but I think this one is a better build. Flying is brilliant, stable easy to fly and does not tip stall. The biggest problem with this plane is the engine. I had a RCGF 61 in it which had great power but overheated. Changed to a Zenoah 62, doesn't over heat but could do with that little more power. If you can afford it the Roto 85 twin in line would be great for this plane, but even that I've hared that the rear cylinder overheats. Overhaul the plane is great. Thanks
I make models of working sailing ships . But yours is far ,far better then anything I can do !!! The radar array alone must have taken hundreds of hours . Well done sir !

Thank you for your comments Welder Martins. Your quite right there are many things that could be done. The chain could be stud time. but I opted to use a necklace. This is because the model is completely built using house hold items apart from a few bits and pieces. Try taking yourself back to 2002. This is when i started to build the model. Living at the time in a far eastern country were info was practically non existent. All I had at the time was a line drawing i found in a magazine and a few distant photos i found on the internet. The model was never intended to be a an exact scale model but was built entirely for pleasure using what i had at the time. In 2012 i decided to exhibit the model at shows here in the UK. It won many 1st and 2nd prizes, not for the accuracy but for how it was made. And in my opinion this is the most important thing. Do your best with what you have and improvise I never had any money to build a model of this size, but i wanted to without spending a fortune on model fittings. Again thank you Regards Richard.
BETTER use a stud link anchor chain, this scale would be appropriate to use it. Wonderful model, and would be good to look for some characteristics that are not well treated, just a few, try to make the model as best as it can be, that is my sugestion, but you have a masterpiece, congratulations on good work.............
pfft your is no were near as deadly & cute looking i have a lil 1 who came with a companion submarine my battle ship(Emily) is competitive with water & does not mind sitting on a stand p that is cheaply made up she also light weight & is very friendly for when sheers picked up by her midden body section & doesn't mind other army collie copters lading on her back were her heliport is she has a miniature silver 1 she dozenth Min d her toy version & will not attack regulator model helicopters she even will be fair to other models longer then her or taller then her for when she's treted nicely i caller my battele field angel coz it keeps her happy for if she turns a bit agressive & afendive with her brother SSN-774 (belle) (~emily) GDD-51 she is not an rc she does protect her sister SSN-774 coz they were baugh to gether in a big set she was the only 1 outta her fasmily on the tippy top shelf who seemed higly repettative so its why i choose to gether & not an rc

Wooow thats really nice ;) I'm just building a destroyer from WWII ( Fletcher Class ) its' total length is 3 meters ... and it will be powered by simply a starter battery from a car :D But what you built ... Those details ... AMAZINGLY good work !!! Sorry for my english guys, I'm german ;)
