Interesting that on the second and third ones from 1974 (when 2 was still on NBC), WPVI's familiar Move Closer To Your World music was heard (I know that another NBC station, WPXI in Pittsburgh, had that extensively starting in the late-80s).
This newscast aired Wednesday, November 18, 1998. That was the day Kelly Gissendaner was convicted. Keith Kalland mentions that it was not even Thanksgiving yet. And Amanda Davis said, “We made it to the middle of the week.”

I honestly think that October 17, 1990 is the wrong year. I believe it is the fall of 1991 not 1990. Because one of the news anchors are talking about Bill Cosby and the opening to the Cosby show. The cast of the Cosby Show dancing in front of the painting means it would be the last season for the Cosby show, which was the 1991 - 1992 season and left NBC in the Spring of 1992.

This was such a great throwback to my childhood. I grew up watching 11 Alive, and all these great newscasters. Chuck Moore was just unflappable - the consummate newsman!
15-year old me didn't care so much about the news, but would watch any newscast that had Pam Martin on it. Seriously though, this was a great newsteam - Ken Cook is an Atlanta legend!
