Yes but it also depends on soil also. We have some pretty hard clay here and a 3/4 8in thick will last 20years.

Perennial peanuts is a good ground cover. The bloom is edible and the roots help with soil erosion. Just another idea instead of grass.

The Romans basically did this, starting with even larger (fist-sized or bigger), and kept progressively putting smaller rock on top, and some of those roads are still in service today. They even invented better (self-healing) concrete than we have today, although we think we've figured it out now.

I like this and have been shown the terminal method, thing that sucks is here in Florida i use a slightly heavier gage and are squares get tight fast so theres not much room after about the 3 square down so i do a slightly different method that works about the same but just not quite as secure in the end i make up with a special tool to brade far tighter and a two barbed U nail

When I say this I am referring to field/hog fence, not no-climb/horse fence

@StephenS-2024

Please explain why we need to vent. Interesting stuff.
@TheLandEditor
@TheLandEditor 19 дней назад
The purpose of the vent is so when the water level rises the vent will seal off the air flow into the vent and start the siphon effect to pull the water down at full siphon effect. Once the water is drawn back down below the vent it's purpose is to vent an air bubble into the flow of water breaking the siphoning effect to stop the system from running until it pulls air into the intake effectively draining your pond empty or at least wayyyy below where it's supposed to

I bet wildlife activist hate you. Contaminated water drainage. Well not my fine. Have fun with those thousands of dollars in fines. Dont ever film yourself breaking the law. Animal run-off especially from cows is how people, and other animals get sick from people doing this stuff.

If I reme🎉mber correctly ...14 inches of 4in pipe is one gal by volumn...construct a swing disc into another tee and each gallon passing will trip a counter by its lever.
