An outdoor enthusiast with a passion for being out on the water with friends and family. Just want to share what we love with everyone who wants to watch. We will catch anything willing to bite from giant sharks nearshore to offshore sea bass and inshore kayaking for redfish and sea trout. As long as we are fishing we are having a good time. A bad day of fishing is still better than a day of work!!
I caught my first fish ever down there, in a little pond behind my parents house. Decent sized drum on a chartreuse artificial bait. My dad told me I’d never catch a fish in that pond and I casted for hours caught it and still have the picture. My dad was completely sure there were no fish in the pond but a high tide or a bird got that fish in there. You ever heard about catching fish in those ponds on the sound side of the island like that?
@@provenchersoutdooradventur3957 My family is from eastern Nc and we moved back here in 97’. My dad was a banker/ developer down there and we had a little house on dauphin island. The fishing is pretty good there but isn’t like what we can get to in the Gulf Stream out off hatteras or Oregon inlet. Charleston takes a while to get to the Gulf Stream obviously but you have some damn goon inshore fishing. 🎣
@@provenchersoutdooradventur3957 Hi I live in Georgetown SC if you have boat it is very good fishing. I surf fish at Pawleys Island Beach over the winter there is some nice structure that formed. Thanks
send the video to the warden. I get his point with how up on his dock you were but he doesn't need to approach the situation like that. most he needs to do is come talk to you and make sure you're not being a dick.
It looks to me like you were touching the guys dock? Were you? the clip shows you moving away from the dock whe he first spoke to you. If you were then you had it coming. Docks are pivite property the last time I looked. If you were not then how about showing the clip from say a minite before he spoke to you?
Dude I always see people posting stuff like this but they don’t stand their ground. I would have told him to call the police, coast guard or game warden. I don’t care because he doesn’t own the water. He can pack sand.
I’ve been fishing 3 mile most my life, if you’re catching lizard fish or whiting and croaker you’re on a sand flat part of it away from the structure, you wanna get your bottom rig right next to the structure but not right on top of it and get snagged a whole bunch, the best spot I’ve been near is the deck barge, if you anchor on the far side of it when the tides coming in and sit a tiny ways off of it there’s a hole of some sort in it where we’ve caught keeping sized trigger fish, huge pigfish grunt, multiple different species of porgy from scup, spotail, long spine, whitebone and even pink porgy, and even cobia and a big puddingwife wrasse there’s a lot of spots right on too the structure where black sea bass and rock sea bass dig in that you wanna try to avoid, even tho the black seabass will periodically move, we also caught 2 gag grouper but they were a little too small to keep
Dang, I am in Texas I do alot of bass fishing on lakes, 99% of the dock owners are cool, some fool start running his mouth like that dock owner did he would have a fist against his head.
@@provenchersoutdooradventur3957 in the video your friend says he was on the dock. Why lie and make up a fake video like u guys weren't on someone else's dock without permission. Then act like he was the bad guy.
I assure you we were never on "his" dock my buddy was under it because at low tide you can get underneath it. I had fished that dock many times over the years never seen a soul on it let alone had any issues
No he doesn't think he owns the water, he owns the Dock, which your dirty hands and paddle are scraping up his dock He didn't say anything about fishing, looks like the Only Karen is the guy that uploaded this video acting like he owns other people's docks
thats rediculous man im so sick of dock owners they put there property on the water i believe if you wanna have property connecting to water you need to be ok with people around or touching the dock. If you were tearing it up thats one thing but your not. We have a lake where i live and the whole thing is surronded with docks and I have never had anyone say anything becuase everyone understands they moved to the lake people will fish around it. They knocked down 100 year old cypress trees to put docks and thats where the fish are now so they can suck it. It just aggrivates me man especially if they dont ask nicley i would be like yea ill back up but this dude had a attitude. Where even was this because we have no laws of such like that lol i would of kept fishing it. I have never herd of a law that makes you be a certain length from a dock . and i would sit right next to it all day long he cant do anything about it. I owned a dock once and i literally let anyone around it or on it to retrieve baits or if they had issues. THIS IS NOT THE WAY TO ACT ....
that guy that netted the fish with the cooler is way rad! what a brilliant idea. maybe tourit coolers should send him more stuff. also i lol'd so hard when the fish swam in-between his legs.
You can fish around it all you want, but you shouldn't be touching it, control your boat and stay away, and he's got no right to piss and moan. Specific regs in states might specify distance, idk about that, that's something to check your regs about, but reaching out and touching the dock makes you wrong bud, whether he's bugging out or not.
Something to consider.... When guys get snagged and break off near a slip, the broken line can wrap around the boat's prop shaft and cut the seals out. This can cause thousands of dollars in damage. If it were YOU this happened to, you might not be happy either.
I've never seen a boat or had a problem in 2 years fishing this dock. But yes I understand you thinking and that's why I always try to remove in hooks or line that does get snagged
@@provenchersoutdooradventur3957 - That is a good practice. Sorry you hit the angry guy, but glad you kept your cool. Don't let people like that ruin your day. Try to make peace quickly and get away from them. In the long run, it's the best way.
Dude. I would called him Buddy all day long while I fished that dock. I hate people like that. Call the Warden when people like run off at the mouth so he gets a lesson rather than an ass whooping.
Okay I'm 60 years old and speaking as an adult if it's their property then they should be able to fish their own property and not have somebody to catch all the fish around their property. The best thing to do is save up your money and buy the dock next to him and then see if he can say anything but to tell you the truth I wouldn't want it. There are lots of places to fish besides around his dock. It's kind of like this there's lots of fish in the sea the old saying when you are burnt by some woman and there are truly are so it's not worth it stress kills. Anyway I enjoy watching you guys fish I wish I could myself but at the moment I don't have a vehicle to get there. God bless. 🕊️😇❤️🙏🇺🇲✝️
Currently I do not. It's basically and egg sinker on your main line, a barrel swivel tied to a 12in leader to a circle hook. Size of the hook and sinker are dependent on the current and size of bait you are using
