Welcome to the FIA / FIM World Rally Raid Championship!
The five-round FIA World Rally-Raid Championship is launched with the famous Dakar Rally, which next year will take the contenders back to Saudi Arabia for an epic 14-day adventure in the spectacular sand and dunes of the Empty Quarter. The Championship remains in the Middle East for the Abu Dhabi Desert Challenge before heading to central Asia and Kazakhstan, where the arid scrublands and deserts of the world’s largest landlocked country provide another different challenge. Rally Andalucia marks the World Championship’s visit to Europe, while Rallye du Maroc on the African continent rounds out the inaugural season with its wide range of technical, fast and sandy tracks, as well as dunes.
So far the edits for this rally have been quite good. But the audiomix for this one is way off. Why is the music so loud during interviews? It's nearly impossible to understand what they are saying.
Guys, this is really disappointing to watch. Did you upload a first draft? The editing is so amateur that I don't think the person responsible has even learned the software. From start to finish, there are just basic editing principles that are botched and outright overlooked. Did no-one check this before it went out? Are you happy with this standard of editing? Have some pride in the brand, please. This is utterly unprofessional and it reflects really badly on W2RC. There is no excuse for it either, because there are thousands of motorsport fans out there who happen to be competent editors. Many of them are currently making content on RU-vid. Find one and recruit them instead of churning out videos as unwatchable as this. Releasing a final product of such low quality is disrespectful to your competitors, your fans, and to the members of your media team who captured this video and audio.
i was super hype for the end of this rally but my GOD the editing ruined it for me - awful mismatched music that’s way too loud - you can’t hear any of the interviews - 10:32, 13:01 and 14:45 there’s supposed to be graphics of the stage results but they seem to have forgotten to put them in?? - confusing cuts between content i love this sport but fuck, man, this video is near unwatchable
