ok, that was great slution but temporary, later how did you solve what was the main issue for lower tailgate wont open ?

I did it from the passenger side like the comments said.. there’s some stuff on that side you have to remove or pull back like the carpet be the roadside kit under the carpet but none of it required tools so 10/10 way better than removing the gas pedal
