A feel good video if ever there was one! A perfect match and a fitting honour for Andy (& Vince) to acknowledge their inspiration in the creation of Boy 😍
I don’t normally comment but I have been a huge huge erasure and andy bell fan since I was 12 (46) now. They still remain my favorite band of all time. I LOVE the killers and even more now after seeing this. Andy bell is a legend and one of the most amazing humans.
I saw Erasure open for Duran Duran in 1987- loved them ever since. This was a pretty awesome thing to get to experience. Brandon Flowers is a huge Erasure fan and is often influenced by them.
Andy is one of best pop vocalists of the last 40 years. I’ve Been an Erasure fan since the beginning, it’s wonderful to see him up there getting all this love from Brandon and The Killers’ fans. Lovely stuff
Brilliant. I’ve seen the killers twice, I love the depth of Brandon’s covers. We have gotten Morrissey covers and Willie Nelson covers when we saw them. Rad.
I am thee biggest Erasure fan! This is the best video I’ve seen of this! When I tell you I’ve watched this so many times (esp from 3 mins in with that beat/tempo change) I mean over and over and over!! Goosebumps! Thank you! ☺️
He really is a great singer and performer let’s hope for a killers cover on the next set of shows But so jealous as I saw the killers in Manchester and missed out on ALR
The killers started out playing in drag clubs in Vegas, so I’m. Not surprised. Also Brandon’s friendship and collaboration with Elton John and Neil Tennant. I can imagine he feels conflicted with parts of his religion, or so I hope he would. I left Mormonism because I saw their stance on forceful regulation against gay marriage as a contradiction to free will. It unraveled everything for me.
@@rootieboy talking to a active LDS member here with a openly gay son. My son plays the piano with the primary kids every Sunday. He loves them an the kids love him. He understand accepts the no marriage in the temple with what is taught in the temple about marriage. Everyone still has their free will rather they want to make those promise to God in the temple. Rather my son gets married to another man we will cross that road when and if it happens. Still he see the good in the church an the principles he been taught. On the music note love all the bands Brandon Flowers love like the Pet Shop Boys, Depeche Mode and of course Erasure. So disappointed Erasure had to cancel their last tour, but with what happened with V. Clarks wife totally understand. Cheers
@@richardevans4531 I appreciate your response. Prop 8 was the final nail in the coffin for me. Hoping your son has an opportunity to explore what lifestyle ends up being right for him, most likely in his adult life
