I've been one some fire roads, nothing crazy. I have a full set of skid plates to install before I do anything more adventurous. Stay tuned for that video!
On the Sahara, 33s should fit without a lift, and most owners don't complain of any rubbing in normal situations and light offroading. If you go heavy offroading with 33s, you may get some slight rubbing at full articulation. But 33s are just 1in larger than stock, so I think you should be okay. 35s are a different story. With 35s, your wheel option and offset can affect how much rubbing occurs. For example, if you keep your stock wheels and no lift, you're likely to get rubbing on the upper control arms and fender liner for sure. If you go with wheels with a more negative offset with no lift, you can reduce rubbing. You can always check the forums for which tire size and wheel offset combo works best. However, my advice is that if you're going with 35s, you should get at least a 2in lift to be on the safe side. The Rubicons can run 35 from stock, but remember, they have beefier suspension and higher fenders which the Sahara does not. Hope that helps!
You have to get the Puddle Pods and hook up the DRL function. It’s a super easy install, maybe 3 hours if you’re a beginner. If you don’t use the DRL function then these turn signals were a waste of money because they don’t do anything different from any other brands that are half the cost.
