God could easily clear up all doubt about "miracles" by getting some Christians to pray for someone who has lost a limb . . . and then let us all see the limb regrowing. Sadly, this has never happened. God must have something against amputees.
strange how "god" never heals dwarfism, or amputees, but ONLY, backpain, neckpain, leg-issues, ( all that are quite relative to the experience) god must REALY hate those amputees and dwarfs for some reason beyond our comprehension, all part of his big plan !!, right ?
Any time a theist demands something "because God", it is well enough to say "Show reliable evidence of that god or I won't" and then refuse to accept any fallacious, unsound, or just weak evidence provided like they were arithmetic errors.
Since science does not and cannot, at least for now, comment on the gods, any question that holds "given the scientific evidence" as a starting point will never swing in favor of theism.
" which more closely aligns with the scientific evidence" Well my friend you kind of put yourself in a little pickle here because scientific evidence relies on empirical evidence. But people who want to assert that there is some type of supernatural deity must step out of scientific evidence by using assertions such as their supernatural deity which is outside of space, time and material.
Fun episode. Of course we know that full disclosure and open contact with Extraterrestrials would not necessarily destroy Christianity, but it would fundamentally change it for the better. Yeshua's medssage of love is universal, you don't even have to be Christian to embrace it. However there are many aspects of Christian doctrine that would simply fade away. We are souls having a human experience and there are planets that are much more enlightened and more advance than Earth.
@@thegooddialoguepodcast yes, it shouldn’t be done against thier will, but it was suggesting that because they are angels they couldn’t be redeemed because of what they are. Which is ridiculous.
God created them with freedom. When they chose to rebel they knew full well they would never change their minds. As they had complete knowledge they bear full responsibility, so God owes them no mercy. Mercy by definition isn't owed, so no one has a right to demand it. You, however, are not an angel, so you have a choice and a chance. That's what matters for you.
