I bought Skyrim back in May, and the amount of stuff there still is to do and can be done absolutely astounds me. Also the ragdolls still make me wheeze, they never stop being funny.
Just remember that Console has the worst script lag in gaming. This is part in blame for console using Hardrive and not SSD. Add this to how many times you use saves, reload areas, or length you play, Skyrim can start lagging on script backlogs as there are many things counted in its physics engine based on how you play. Lags or glitches are alnost always hardware. Not to mention how you intervene in real time scripts. Vanilla Skyrim in truth is very hardcoded when it comes to quests and gameplay as there is always a reason..Ive experienced more bugs when I add mods
console versions didnt age well did they things about some bugs and how you can avoid them if you care or want to replicate them: Esbern's door if you spam interact it , it will "backlog" all the animations per interaction you did , so if you pressed it a hundred times it needs to go trough animation hundred times the guard that trespasses: all npc's will literally telpeort nex tto you if they were talking to you and you move to a different area its probably meant for niche cases when a quest npc wanted to do a scripted event and you left the area, softlocking you this comes with problem of anyone talking to you mostly in whiterun will teleport inside the building or outside the building if they were talking to you at the time you changed area oh btw you should drop items you dont want while sneaking in an area, like some bandit hideout or forsworn drop baskets, iron pots, and whatnot just do it and you wont regret it, just let the uh bandit walk to you
I have literally never had a glitch like the ones you had. I've had glitches, sure, but not like those There's a Nord woman in the Bannered Mare spoiling for a fight, I used to fight her all the time, and I can fist fight anyone else, but if I try to fight her, my fists don't work. No matter how high in level I get, eventually she will wear me down by attrition.
While in Mourning and Havoc, I got stuck in the plunging animation a few times but by far the most traumatising bug I got was getting stuck behind Sierpes' head...I had to go through that fight so so many times.... I have pirated Blasphemous btw
People overreact on how hard Stygian actually is. Sure enemies get bonus damage from the flame. The only big change is +1 death armour and possible champions. Bastards Beacon however does so much more. Ordainment on *EVERYTHING*. Sure, on region 3 that's a given. But think about it. Region 1 is suddenly extremely harder. Bosses are even harder. And finally, the confessions are essentially also ordained, but also have bonus effects, spoilers for those: Act 1: Normal ordainment except all Locks have DOUBLE Health, and the buffs given from dying are trippled! Act 2: Normal Ordainment, and Lungs apply burn to attackers when hit, the boss itself applies burn on hit, and have 10% burn Res pierce and +1 burn duration dealt. Oh and also DEFENCE IGNORING ON BURNING HEROES + 100% move res pierce. And -5 flame on the bonus attack if lung tokens aren't gone, which btw, also gain extra health, which in turn means you need to deal more damage to remove said tokens, as it's max hp % based. Act 3 (I fear this the most): Ordainment buff as usual, and the return of apply on crit: steal positive tokens and add seen tokens. The eye stalks also not only get the stat boost, but apply additional negative tokens, and lose all negative tokens when going up/down a stage. Here's the real pain: The boss itself. Extra health makes the fight longer, and Behold IGNORES STEALTH! THE ONE THING THAT YOU NEED HERE. The only thing you can do is dodge or taunt. Stealth may remove the seen, but Limiercence will hit HARD before you can. Oh and also, if you're running a DOT Team, good luck. Suppress will transfer all DOT on the heroes. Making all that stacked progress gone, and also acting like a 2nd Limiercence... Act 4: Ordainment and same buffs for bleed like with Act 2 with burn. Keep in mind this will make a MASSIVE DIFFERENCE with this boss, as it will nuke you with bleed. Phase 1 and 2 will also have combo/precise intent hit adjacent heroes. And phase 3 is the worst. Any hit can apply vulnerable. Rumination essentially has 2 rolls on if it applies combo, horror or 6 bleed. Again, this stacks with the base buff of +bleed duration and Res pierce. Oh and Last Grasp will rain your positioning, since if it moves your heroes, it gives them 2 immobilise tokens! Act 5, not actually the hardest, but not easy for sure: Ordainment as usual, this also gives 10% chance for crit token on turn begin. Phase 1 essentially gives everyone the gastric juice token, and has the same buffs for blight like act 2/4. Phase 2 is actually not that impactful, as it just gains more debuff res, and transfers all negative tokens on melee hits. Phase 3 is the most impactful. Ironically, the boss itself doesn't gain any specific buff, only the ordainment. The proclaimers however gain +1 DOT Dealt and Duration, as well as +10% DOT/Debuff pierce. Hollow Vessel will be a big fucking pain to say the least. And finally, the Spectres don't gain the ordainment, but instead on crit steal all positive tokens and on hit apply one of the 3 DOT at random. (This has killed my heroes 2 times in attempt 1) So yeah, compared to a slight damage buff (+40% on 0 Flame) for enemies, it pales against BB, as Ordainments add 40% damage buff themselves, INCLUDING THE BOSSES! And don't forget the flame effects don't get altered, which at first seems good, but then remember how bad some of those confession flames can be, ESPECIALLY ACT 3
Idk, i got it twice by mistake. Tried to replicate it but i couldnt (also even if you got it you would die as seen in the last clip, so prob not abusable)
does anyone have a bug where during Crisanta phase 2 she just keeps spinning jump? I have encountered it twice and she just stuck to one side of the screen spinning lol. the fight became super easy since i can just slowly chip away her hp.
I remember one time I cast Weight of Sin while falling through a drop-down platform, and when and I landed, I just couldn't move at all or perform any action. The Penitent One decided that not moving was also a good penitence to do. (had to restart the game)
