Charlize is insufferable. To try an oortray hardy as the problem is incredibly disingenuous. You must be a feminist. Theron has had multiple people complain about her diva antics while toms costars have nothing but good things to say
Every time I hear someone pronounce her surname the way they do instead of HOW WE SOUTH AFIRCANS SAY it, it just makes me cringe lol IT IS PRONOUNCED AS TRON the same way you would say the movie TRON that is how you pronounce THERON as TRON with emphasis on the T as an explosive T-RON
@@ultimafreak Don't you just love it when some RANDOM American try and tell a person from that actual country and language (SOUTH AFRICA and AFRIKAANS speaking) how their Surnames and words are spelt in their NATIVIVE TONGUE and how to pronounce them. Also that they fail to understand what they read or are too dumb when you tell them its how we pronounce words, coz you know americans are dumb that way, that they think they are the only country in the world and its only how they make words sound that are correct lol..... THERON is not ENGLISH its AFRIKAANS hence it sounds like TRON.. You would have a field day trying to pronounce my surname correctly lol COETZEE you will 100% fail as its not how you would pronounce it the way you see it in English either and the double e on the end there is no similar sound in English that I can explain what it sounds like lol
@@SoloGamingZA/videos I'm not American i may be dumb but i FULLY understand what you mean, i just don't understand why people make the pronounce so complicated hehe. Cant really expect people to be able to pronounce it correctly if they are not native. Good day to you Sir or Lady (hard to tell from nick / avatar)
@@ultimafreak ah get you... Anyway we are all Dumb lol... You see the Afrikaans Language has its origin in Dutch, French, German some Malaysian and sometimes a hint of Portuguese... Even my own Surname has 2 variants Coetzee and Coetsee. the reason well when the first of our name was baptized by an older Dutch pastor he wrote the surname as the Dutch would spell when the second brother got baptized years later the new pastor spelt and wrote the surname as he heard it as Coetsee and not Coetzee. Now a couple of hundred years later there are two versions of my Surname and both versions swear they are the only version lol but my version is the correct way lol
I think the first problem was role capacity which was not cleared by the director and Hardy was having hard time to play it as he was not confirmed that he was a lead or in a supporting role. That confusion between them both was the main reason of feud.
Tom has still been working regularly. Where's Charlize been since? She hasnt been doing much. I think we know who people want to work with and who they don't.
Yeah thats worst bs I heard, takes 2 to tango. And doesn’t mean one was wrong and other was right. Both can be great persons, but when you have bad chemistry/bad start things can easily snowball. Doesn’t say anything about any of them, only about the situation they got themselves into
I think a lot of it had to do with the fact Charlize Theron has become full blown woke with her black baby boys transitioning to girls. The buffoonery. I am entertained.
actors presenting as if they have a REAL job is infuriating. YES, what they do is unique. but largely innate. most of the best actors are not products of lessons and practice but a charisma and chemistry for the work. stop pretending your work is hard. You're pampered, well paid, and VERY fortunate.
So basically On set had no personal trailers for the diva's so they start calling the method actors names causing method actors to go into split personality bursts of outrage.
@lisaroberts8556 Well been a fan of the first trilogy & been that they were about Max's journey & this 🎬 not so much. I find that Hardy lacked the screen presence that Gibson bought to the original trilogy. Now having said that I luv the energy that Charlize bought to her role & I thought her performance outshined Hardy in his portrayal of Max.
Over the hill? She was only in her late 30s when this movie was shot. Also, you don't speak for everyone (or even a majority, judging by how well received Fury Road was).
Saying that Hardy even came close to "damaging" the premise of Max's character is a gross miscalculation especially when you take into account this story was not about Max as the lead. This was meant as both a new telling of Max and a nod to those who already know his story, while having Charlize as the lead. Plus, people nowadays seem to forget that reboots, re-quels, sequels, etc, mostly give ways to new avenues of storyline and storytelling so odds are the story and characters are going to be different. Won't hurt the originals.
Imagine actually making a film about Mad Max and “MAD MAX” never actually shows up in the story line and is sidelined and sacrificed at the altar of the left wing THOUGHT POLICE. This is hilarious and is comedy gold. I can’t believe this total tripe actually got 6 Oscar’s after killing the MAD MAX franchise. No wonder Tom Hardy struggled to appear on set. Take me back to the 80s when movies and Disney hadn’t been infested with so much left wing propaganda and cancel culture. The Marxists are a slippery bunch and have perfected their propaganda tactics since the 80s and the Cold War due to the online algorithm and the ease with which you can implement mass brain washing - right? This movie was total and utter left b….sht yet again!!
Rlthat must've been a huge pain in the ass to film.Yourbout in the hot desert all day in make up and crazy clothes has to suck. Not to mention doing these insane stunts.
So much I like Tom Hardy as actor, he really behaved like an unruly teenager. No wonder people got mad at him. Even George Miller said that it was difficult to work with him. Tom Hardy often locked himself in his trailer and refused to come out. He had to be coaxed many times for filming. Great actor however.
I used to be a festival worker in the desert, and yes, people do go crazy from time to time. It's hot as hell in the morning, physical labor is 10 times harder, you shit in the portal potty, everything is dusty and dirty, the night shower is cold as ice. It's truly uncharted area
So it would seem to me that the tension, the feuding and the mistrust that their respective characters shared in the beginning spilled onto the actors themselves. So interesting how Charlize and Tom became more amicable at the same time their characters hit a turning point in the film. Art truly imitating life lol
