Directions unclear: how to check its uncharged. Idea: lick it ( see if it tingles like a 9V) Update: eyebrows have mostly grown back now, and I think I may have done something incorrectly on that last “test”🤣
Thanks - If a capacitor passes the rated capacitance, is that confirmation it is good? I have a 35uf +/- 5% reporting 34.6 - However, the motor is still just humming when I turn it on. Could it still be a duff capacitor please?

I drove a very similar Kubota yesterday to pull on a few trees as we cut them down and direct them away from buildings, towards an access road for easier cutting. First time driving a tractor like that, very impressed with it's ability off road.

These videos are frustrating because there's no standard on the numbering format for these capacitors. His clearly lists "MFD" on the label, but I've seen plenty that don't... just the weird upside-down looking 'h' symbol next to a capital "F". Plus the arrangement of markings on his multimeter look nothing like what the multimeters at Harbor Freight have.
This guy has some many different skills. You could tell him to make you literally anything within reason and he will make it if not from scratch damn near. It's amazing
Kello Keith I am in the same situation as I start working on heavy equipment back in 2013and I found out doing so, parts were not available for a machine I had so I bought a southbend 16 lathe to fix it and then well as it goes I started reading up through metal working books and the gears started to grind as I needed a few more machines. And 9 years later after working out of several small shops as I kept growing out of them I finally acquired a 10,000 sq ft shop that I am renovating know and my main expense right now is my three phase electrical service. I graduated high school in 2009 and have been serving in the armed forces since 2012. So I feel how rewarding it is to get a big shop to work in . Cheers and keep up the great videos and fantastic work on the machines.

Girl, you are a person. A very capable person that will go very far. I call you "girl" only because you are younger than me. When I hired, I had two questions: can you do the job and; will you do the job. I have worked with (females) that were leaps and bounds better than guys. The only time I have a problem is when the female part is thrown in my face. I give no more credit and give no less. The only thing I will say is that I wish you talked a bit slower because my hearing is pretty bad. I would hope to someday meet you because you are a spark plug and your enthusiasm is addicting.

Sir may I ask, if I have a motor starting capacitor for "Dough Mixer" of 80µF 10+20% 270V, and I have a reading of 85µF, shall I say that the capacitor is in excellent condition?
