I'm going to be 73 this fall and I concur! Elvis was virtually unattainable if you aspired to be a musician and singer. But Buddy had an everyman quality about him. He could be your neighbor, or friend that lived down the street! Additionally, just look at what Buddy produced in just a year and a half in the public eye! His legacy is huge, as is/was his influence on future artists...and it continues on to this day!
This guy does a TERRIBLE impersonation of Richie Valens. Richie Valens did NOTHING even remotely like this guy portrays here. I think someone told this cat to lip sync Richie Valens La-Bomba, and being to young to know who Richie Valens was, he thought they said/meant Ricky Martin…. 😂😂……. Terrible…..
i also was born in1957 and grew up listening to buddy and all the others and still do better than what we have today. think them lads hit it off fantastic well done like to see the full film.
Why would they let Richie bump & grind on stage even with cameras but not Elvis? I call this bs .they would not allow that especially with a Mexican singer .I don't have anything bad to say about Mexicans or any nationalities .I'm half Mexican myself .love this music & the story but they made this movie out to more than what it was back then .just my opinion
Ritchie valens would never do that the actor terribly portrayed Ritchie, valens would never grind on the microphone and his mom would probably disapprove as well considering he wasn’t even legally an adult
I’m really sorry really really sorry sorry for your loss loss sorry sorry for your loss loss sorry sorry for your loss loss sorry sorry for your loss loss sorry sorry for your loss 😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢
My God!! This guy is really DISGUSTING!! It's the price we have to pay to hear THE ONE AND ONLY BUDDY HOLLY! God Bless You Buddy. Thank you for your UNIQUE MUSIC!
Thank you Mom for turning us on to such great music it may be 2023, but I will always listen to this. Thank you Mom and Aunt Jane and Grandma and Grandpa. For everything you did for me I guess you guys knew I had rhythm and beat since I was eighteen months old. I'll never forget Buddy Holly Ritchie Valens or the Big Bopper and then Winter Wonderland Concert
A lot of you younger fans may not know much about Buddy Holly other than the 'Buddy Holly Story' but he was amazing. Back in the early 70's Don Mclean had a hit record called "The Day The Music Died" which was about the day that Buddy Holly, Richie Valens ( movie "La Bamba")and the "BIG Bopper" were killed in a plane crash. I thought I remembered all of his songs but I hadn't heard this one since the 60's.
I selected this tab because it was next on the RU-vid videos I opened. I heard the song, and I immediately thought, "Did I choose the wrong video?" Impeccable taste in music, btw.
