A wondrous rainforest trail. Surely there must be some turtles, some reptiles & amphibians in there? Obviously a tough hike though, the way you're breathing. But then we see the height attained, the fantastic views. Great video.
Definitely 👍🏼 there had to be so many north then what we bumped into. It was tuff but we pushed though. I think 🤔 I always breathe like that once something active is underway. The top and that beer I took was definitely worth it though. Cheers for tuning in Frank.
Tropical bliss this episode, with lots of nice photography. Having that water-maker saves a lot of hassle. The rocky beach was interesting (eg 6:06), and a good catch by Bowen. Harlow is a character. A fascinating place, Nara Inlet. Love that yellow crowned ambassador who paid your craft a visit. Wow, pretty violet skies at 13:48. Soon after, blended with orange/blue hues. Your children must be having the time of their lives. Yes, the lyra is a great exercise/dance apparatus for Harlow (as well as Shona). Lovely scenes to close.

That it is we were in oar by the beauty there. Those crabs were delicious 🤤 biggest we have ever caught, and you are not wrong they tasted great knowing that we caught them sustainably. They have there times hahaha but yeas they are to crazy funny and precious little ones wouldn’t change them for the world. Thanks so much for following along on our adventures ✌🏼

Glad you were once again able to overcome the challenges pertaining to this lifestyle. Maher Island is a sensational place. I wonder about creatures that get trapped as the tide retreats? I hope we'll see high tide in the next episode.
There are definitely some hurdles, but nothing we can’t work through together as a team. Maher was absolutely stunning and we will definitely be back there for a high tide visit. But due to the current blow we had to head for somewhere a little more protected. So next week we will take you crabbing in Gulnare Inlet. 🙌🏼
They were great and delicious. We are working on the next episode now from leaving the marina to heading back to the Whitsundays. This will definitely make an appearance on the episode after that. So good to be back out on the water making memories to share.
I knew you guys were on a boat for an extended period, but didn't realise you'd sold up and were living on one permanently! That's super cool! You'll have to make another video explaining how you prepared for the change of life, and if you're doing work remotely somehow etc! I reckon a video like that would do really well for you. Congrats on living out a dream (jellyfish stings and all!) The kids will never forget this time in their lives and it will really forge who they are as people!

Bit of a scare! 1000% get the "not picking up the camera when something important is going on"! Happens with us too. The only time we ever catch that kind of thing is when we had time lapse cameras, or a camera on the tripod going on in the background. Gen Z have it ingrained to pull the camera out at old time western gunslingers pace, but us oldie millennials are a bit slower LOL
Another great vid. The jellyfish situation could have been a lot worse at east you had the nouse to grab some in a jar for comparison good job. The funniest thing i heard was when one of the kids said "why are we on a time frame" so good. Hills inlet is a great spot spent two nights anchored in there and used the tinny to go up the inlet to fish just gotta watch the tides and the track in it winds around a bit and you can get caught up the inlet. Great stuff guys and see you when you get down sunny coast
Thanks mate, yeah we were super lucky it was a false alarm. Grabbing it in the jar was definitely Shona‘s idea that’s why she is captain and I am Bosin Bowen. It is funny indeed as they are now so use to not having a time frame we just go with the weather and the flow. Hill inlet is definitely one of our favourite spots so far we went back there for Christmas and this time put on stinger suits. Looking forward to catching up with a beer soon.

Thanks Frank, she was such a beautiful find, we have a couple more place like that on our long list of places to see. Sometimes with think there isn’t enough time to see them all bummer right. Yeah that Spanish mackerel was a great size and has been feeding our fish intake for two weeks now, and we still have some steaks tucked away in the freezer. It feels so good to be so sustainable. Whitehaven wow Whitehaven is just worth the walk that’s for sure. We have definitely learnt a lesson that could have been much worse, but we have to remember that the water is a safe place you just have to respect it and it will you. Cheers for watch and we are so glad that you are loving the channel and are along for the ride.
