@@isabelmendoza404 After my first year I just went back home for the summer! And then after my second year I stayed in Madrid for a couple more months and then I headed home at the end of August
Loved this one😍. It’s been fun to experience your adventures vicariously through your stories, photos, and videos - here’s to more travels in your future! 🌎
Malia, I enjoyed watching your video. Your enthusiasm is contagious, and it was nice to hear the excitement about Madrid from a young person. My husband and I plan to live in Spain when he retires at the end of the year. Madrid is number one on our list of places we would like to reside. I can’t wait to eat there this spring when we go for a visit! Thank you for your charming video. 😊
Glad I found this video! I’m actually going to Colombia tomorrow to check it out and see if I like it there. I’ve been thinking about going to another country to learn Spanish for a few months. I’m thinking either Colombia or Ecuador. I went to Ecuador for two weeks for my first solo trip last year and fell in love with the country. Loving all of your Colombia videos btw! 🫶🏾
Great review. I've decided on going to el poblado for a month and trying to decide on schools. I want more of a mix of conversational and grammar. I also want to stay off site and have optional experiences. While you were there, did you learn about other school options that I should also consider? Follow up question, how many students per class in yours and others.
Thank you! I did most of my research on schools before I went to Medellín. I thought that Total Spanish fit the best with what I wanted to work on with improving my Spanish. I also liked how all the activities offered every day were optional. With classes Monday - Friday 9:00 - 1:00 I had plenty of time for other activities. My classes ranged from 3-8 each week. Hope this helps!
@@MaliaBryant thanks for the follow up. I decided on baselang in laureles because it is one-on-one and conversation based. I saw that many of the schools in el poblado have a very transient orientation and I'm wanting to do six weeks. Hopefully all goes well!
Maila... primero muchas gracias por hablar de tu experiencia en la escuela. Realmente estoy sorprendida sobre este video. Esperamos poder verte de nuevo. Total Spanish no solo es una escuela es una segunda casa para cada uno de nuestros estudiantes.
Sorry this is such a late reply but I hope you were able to get there and leave safely! I had no issues with my Ubers when I went so I hope it was the same for you and I hope your paragliding experience was amazing!! 😊
How charming you are! Lovely video, thank you for advocating so passionately for my hometown! Guess we all commit the sin of taking for granted the pros we enjoy on a daily basis...
Thank you so much! There’s so much to love about Spain it’s hard not to talk about it. I do agree that we take advantage of some things in our lives without realizing it or being conscious of it
First of all you are HILARIOUS! Secondly, what kind of clothes do you recommend wearing? I don't want to stand out as an American, but I also want to wear dresses/heels/look cute!
This is so nice thank you so much! 🥹🫶🏾 I actually posted a packing video for what I brought to Colombia if you wanted to check it out for some Inso! I kind of just stuck to very basic items since I didn't want to stick out at all. But when I was there I did notice a lot of tight fitting clothing (jeans, dresses, skirts, etc.). Hope that helps! 😊
