We decided to do a youtube channel of our adventures/travels. The only problem is we are too embarrassed to talk on camera😂 Don't forget to like and subscribe to the channel
when I was a boy 1960s the fort was complete, I assume they striped out the steel, there was no thought of preserving it for the future, I now live miles away but always thought it a wonderful place, the whole Hoo Peninsular was or a magical place, I expect they will only be happy once it's built over, thanks
@leecudmore-ray6697 The Romans weren't known for having invented aerosol paint. True, they carved their names in the stone work of buildings a tradition that has been going on since time immemorial. However they didn't destroy or deface their surroundings to the extent that has become the normal today. The mindless destruction of one's local environment in search of what? Banksy admittedly makes statements, but your average 'tagger' is only capable of reducing previously reasonable places to live into post apocalyptic wastelands. And as for putting their pathetic marks on sites of historic interest, they are guilty of mindless vandalism!
Hi Jay & Melanie What a nicely put together video, we were there on the Sunday for the steam fayre. Over the summer l have been filming in and around Old Warden/Shuttleworth for a new video to post on our RU-vid channel (do check it out) but never realised that you can go into the Green/Glasshouse as you do at 8.59, looks great in there so may well return soon to included that in the video too. Keep up the good work regards the videos, l know only too well how long these things can take to put together. Gary
Visited Fort Amherst last summer but sadly the tunnel tours weren't on that day. Must make sure we return again this year to take the tour after watching your video.. Thanks for sharing 😊👍
