As a Scouser from ‘Kenny’ or L6 do find a lot of ‘plastic’ scousers born outside of Liverpool in Runcorn, Kirby or Huyton, etc but have Scouse parents exaggerate their accent. I think he is a plastic scouser. It is very guttural language anyway compared to other parts of NW due to the Irish and Welsh influence but not that much.
There is another Liverpool fan lady I was listening the other day, Ruby Deschamps. Struggled to understand what she SAID. English is not my native language. But learning on pronuntiation specifics and jntonation helps a lot.
Did I get it right? UK doesnt have a Constitution? 🙄You're so correct and polite you don't even need to have written rules... hahaha. Another reason to love the UK 💙❤🤍
I'm a teacher of English from Iran. I understood your dad easily, except when he pronounced : Heathrow airport . I had talked to other people speaking cockney in London, but it was hard for me to understand them, maybe because they were from younger generation or they spoke faster. Anyway Thank your dad for providing this experience.
Gosh I love this dialogue. I’m an Aboriginal woman from Brisbane and I visit and work in London regularly, my favourite area is East London’s Mile End (QMUL). I so enjoy the memory, literature and DNA of the cockney accent.🫡🇦🇺🇬🇧 Thank you for sharing.🙏🏽
