Whenever i launch solid edge 2019 its open in 2d drafting. So how can i reset to default 3d modelling . My part is opening in part viewer and assembly in assembly viewer and i cant edit in anything. Plz help
Good afternoon, a very cool lesson! Could you tell me how to send these boards for CNC cutting now? through dxf drawings? or is there some better way, I broke my whole head)
Thanks for your comment, to isolate the boards to make them, you just have to Publish the bodies to obtain an assembly and finally create the drawing and export in DXF/DWG format
Yes, the rendering is really good with the shadows. To view the shadows, you have to activate the option go to Background/View Overrides and activate the Cast shadows option
Good afternoon! Tell me, is there an unusual cabinet designed, how to give for cutting walls, partitions, do you need a DXF? Is there any means to decompose the cabinet into a plane or how to save faces in dxf? Thank You In Advance!
Hi Mr Eric... thank you for this video. It gives me some clue on commands I never used before. I hesitate to ask but perhaps you can help me. It puzzles me and amazed how fast is your 3D to 2D conversion with 11K parts. My problem is I can't convert my assembly with only 1.3K parts. The task manager always flag Solid edge is not responding. I left Solid edge running overnight and still conversion is unsuccessful after 10-hours. I am using SE 2022 and my pc is I7 with 16GB, 8 cores x 16 Logical Processors I7. Setting is auto select when processing large assembly. I am not expecting for your reply sir but I would be very thankful if you do.
Hi Juan, thanks for your comment :-) Here are some parameters that might help you: - Use the Create Draft Quality drawings views option in the Create Wizard. I did not use this option for my video, if you use this option it will be even faster. - Also in the Drawing Options, you need to enable the Enable multi-core drawing view processing option, in the General tab. I have already done assembly drawings with more than 100K parts without any problem.
