I watched the 2019 games in Cherokee this year. Quite an experience. All I can say was this sport is like an intense mix of lacrosse, rugby, and wrestling. When the players would have a spat, they fought each other, got separated, a slap on the back and were told to keep playing. There wasn't any sort of "penalties or punishments" at all. The only reason one guy left the game was cause he left by ambulance from a head injury. No sort of protective equipment, a dude walked around with single bucket with a big wooden ladle and everyone drank out of the communal bucket. Intense stuff. I'm definitely going again next year.
