Which aero bar system do y’all like best for mounting on an SUV with front to back rails? Thule, Yakima, or other. Will primarily use the rack for carrying whitewater kayaks with a stacker.
I lost my keys to the Thule carrier, i have removed the core cylinder with the control key, but the carrier is still in the lock position. How can i unlock the carrier? (I have ordered a new lock and key but need the items inside the carrier)
Der Thule Hullavator ist leider für den Transport von Kajaks, die einem Seekajak gleichkommen, völlig ungeeignet. Ich habe ihn mir für den Transport eines P&H Leo gekauft. Die hintere Spannschnur erhält keinen Kontakt zum Boot und kann dieses nicht stabilisieren. Ein sicherer Transport ist daher nicht möglich. Der Thule-Händler hat den Mangel erkannt und nimmt den Träger zurück. Die Firma Thule allerdings nimmt sich von dieser Thematik nichts an und hält weiterhin an seinem "mangelfreien" Produkt fest.
Looks like Awesome Option for my future Chevy Bolt EV. ... but from recent read in Chevy Bolt forum: "I checked the Rack Attack site and they don't seem to have these that will fit the Bolt. ... Still might be worth a call to them?"
Did you go this route? I'm wanting to do this to my Bolt EV LT but since there are side curtain airbags up there I think I should remove the headliner to be absolutely sure what is underneath before drilling.
this is a swedish product and eventhough all measerments are given in non-metric-system. I find it very ununderstandable to comprehent cubic inches and pounds, when liters and kilograms relate to each other much more understandably
I live about 100 miles from Yakima Washington. Many names in Washington state of towns, lake, rivers, etc. are native American (Indian) names and difficult for out of staters to pronounce. For instance, the name of the town of Puyallup is really butchered. Puyallup is pronounced Pew (as in church pew), al ( as in Al Capone) and up ( as in up and down) accent on the second syllable al. The town of Yakima is no different. It's not Yak-i-muh but Yak-i MA as in Ma and Pa, accent on the first syllable.

Pro-tip: Remove the T-handle nut using a 1/2" wrench and add a lock washer just behind the T-handle (Between the handle and large washer). This will prevent the T-handle from coming loose.

Maybe few people are in my predicament so, there will not be any youtube videos on how to get them loose. The Towers are still good but, the round tubes are rusted and swollen so I can't get the Yakima Railgrab Towers to budge off the tubes.

I think it's very important to know this is an older Showboat which is for round bars. The later Showboat 66 works with cross bars of all types. This first version made you buy the yakima round bars.
What if your bike has a front fender over the the front tire. How would you recommend attaching the Front Hook (?) - I don't want to clamp it on my front fender.
