Thank you so much sir i am from mechanical and I have steam jet ejector in our plant, which we have a maintenance of this system but I don't know the two things why we give barometric leg and vapour balancing line in collection pot. The main concept of vacuum which hold the material or constitutes till 10.33m Height it is vaccum power which will not drop the material until and till we didn't cross the 10.33 m head this is for water only and for the other chemical or material height of holding the material through vaccum power is depend on density of material. Thank you so much from this lecture i have cleared my doubt which was from a very long time in my mind.

Dear When there is reflux line coming from condenser it is called external reflux . If there is no reflux line then The condensation that takes place inside the tower that is known as internal reflux. Hope ur doubt is being cleared.
