I love Allman Brothers and Lynyrd Skynyrd. But as time passes by, Black Oak Arkansas seem to me the real big Southern Rock band. Not sure why but they really touch me. What a song.
It’s crazy how many bands have copied what these guys did now that I really think about it. Van Halen, Kiss, Monster Magnet, Marshall Tucker Band, Skynard to name a few.
I remember at cal jam the three sets of towers making it vibrate in unison whatever that day blew me away they're alittle different than our west coast vibe but they're awesome and they really rocked that day. Too bad they were on the stage I'd of loved having them all party with us there. It was days before any of us came down. The US festival!
Love t! Met Jim Dandy back in the early '70's after a concert. He said " I wish I had me a great big ole tractor- I'd drive it right down the middle of Main Street!" LOL
I was maybe 10 or 11 when I saw Pat and Jan Crouch on TCT back in the 70s say there was backward masking in this version. Satan Satan Satan He is God is what they say it said. I can kinda hear it. I guess you can hear it if you want to, what the thinker thinks the prover proves.
