Back in 2020 to 2022, I was fortunate to have found a men's salon that did offer beard waxing. Some aestheticians definitely had to do a bit of research before my appointment. One aesthetician who I only had once (and didn't seem to have stuck around at the salon) didn't realise that I wanted my whole facial beard wax, not just the corners. Imagine having to suddenly switch to pulling off facial beard all of a sudden. The aestheticians were of course adamant about facial aftercare. I can understand the man not being talkative, as one doesn't want move their face a lot when that is the place getting waxed, some of us struggle to talk when we are focused on not flinching, and also aestheticians bring their eyes close to the client's face.
Hello Kirsten Thank you for another great video❤ I have a client she is taking Ibrutinib indefinitely. This is for Chronic lymphocytic leukemia. This medication is not a chemotherapy drug.rather a targeted form and is taking as a oral once daily medicine.this medication can increase Bruising, because it can reduce the number of platelets. She is doing well besides getting bruised easily. She would like to get waxed I use hard wax now because of your wonderful and informative videos. I'am a Esthetician from canada. I been looking for information and contraindications for my client but i haven't come across that it is a contraindication to her medication. (Waxing).Do you know if Ibrutinib is a contraindication.Thank you very much 😊
Love you and your content, just did my first Brazilian on a friend at school yesterday ❤ and I got my first real one done last week (not including the half Brazilian I tried to do on myself in April haha) and gave myself a vajacial after lmao! thank you for all the helpful tips! I’ve watched almost all your videos at this point 😂 you’re the best!!! I’m so done with shaving, like I used to do it every freaking day and idk how! then when I got older and had a kid, it was once a week if I was lucky but then everything just got itchy and irritated and I had SO many ingrowns, I even got cysts at one point which I’m pretty sure was from a bad razor. My first Brazilian wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be either! I was fully expecting to be screaming lmao but it was okay. I really appreciated this video, it’s great to know that some of the regrowth I had is normal! I’ll definitely continue to wax, my goal is to be able to do it myself! Trying to convince one of my daily shaver friends to start waxing because she’s so sick of it, but she can’t deal with the growth for more than a day 😢 I’m like trust me!!! It’s worth it! Haha thanks again love, have a great day ❤
😊😊😊❤ Cumprimentos aqui do Brasil 🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷
Thank you i also recommend everyone to subscribe and watch your channel. As they will gain alot more then any school offers .im an Esthetician and i still learn new things from you.i feel blessed ❤
Thank you for sharing all that you do❤.I have a question After a consultation Do you have the client sign a waiver ? Also Do you have the client update their information medical etc and sign the waiver before each wax service ? Even for long time clients.
A lot of Estheticians have their clients sign a waiver, but personally I never did. I would, of course, ask my clients if they we're on any medications, creams or if they had any allergies and have them let me know if anything changed.
I don't think the name of the business ever changed, but the name of the RU-vid channel has changed a couple times. I'm guessing she is looking for a channel name that sticks as she works to grow her channel and business.
I didn't change my name! My business name has always been The Hiss'n Kitten Waxing Center. I just shortened it to "HK Wax Center" for short. I decided to go back to using my full name because I think it's fun and cute :)
• Never wax the week before or on your period, your part is much more sensitive at that time. So wax after your period ends. • Take ibuprofen 30 minutes before. • Exfoliate and rinse with warm water to help remove hair. • Always use talcum powder for sensitive areas. • Wax every 3 weeks or once a month. Your hairs should not be too long. Be regular.
Been waxing about 6 months now. After the first time (other than the one time I tried to have my face waxed) I don't have too much of a problem with pain. Though I'm currently undergoing weekly electrolysis treatments (my light colored hair makes me not suitable for LASER) for my facial hair and the pain there is pretty significant. I take a couple of tylenol but it still hurts quite a lot.
What are the best postions for the client while getting waxed during her pregnancy? I'm guessing to safely say just being on her back is the key position ?Thank you ,love your videos and wealth of knowledge ❤
Idk what i am doing wrong.I do all the steps, and the only thing different is I am using a different wax, but it's still hardwax. It always comes out patchy like some hair will pull and some just stays flat
Is there a chart or a diagram that just shows the whole body and which direction hair normally grows. I don't know how you remember which way hair grows everywhere
That’s absolutely wild that lady would ask you to wax her while she had just gone into labor!!! Oh my goodness! 😂 that’s a new one.Thank you so much for this, I haven’t gotten many waxing counts yet at school but definitely excited to learn! Your videos have helped me so much already! Appreciate you and your content immensely ❤
I have been watching your videos. I am a lash tech in nyc i went work part time European waxing center to support my lash business . I quit there last week and going to add waxing services to my business Your brazillian tutorial helped me alot
I just did my upper lip and didnt event know it was supposed to be painful. underarms are a lot kore painful to me, and bikini is next level. Im suprr hair with thick black hair.
Never do a nose wax with soft wax. It can be very dangerous because soft wax takes a long time to fully set especially if it a large glob and if the client leans back it can possibly string into the back of the nose which can become a medical emergency
Thank you so much for all these amazing, informative waxing videos! My instructor at school never went over brow waxing and I’m terrified to go into the clinic next week and begin taking clients without knowing what I’m doing 😂 appreciate you so much! I wish you were in New England, I’d totally come see you lol. I’m waiting for my botched Brazilian to grow out so I can try again 😂 glad to know I’m not the only one who freaks out before waxing myself! You’re so cute and your eyes are so freaking stunning by the way ❤❤❤
Aw I'm so glad my videos have helped! Just keep practicing, I promise it will get easier! You can also get a practice silicone mat so you can practice laying your wax strips. And thank you for the compliment! :)
I would not want them to trim prior to coming in. I've learned a lot of people will tend to trim too much/too short so then the wax can't fully adhere to the hair. It's best if either you don't trim at all, or the professional trims themselves.
