You deserve at least one comment! Just saw a swag like yours on gumtree. I heard the new Kings swag where not very good. Yours is an older one like I am looking at. How long did yours last? How does it go in the rain without a tarp? Is it water proof? Thanks for posting
Hey mate thanks for the comment, I still have this swag and it's still in perfect condition, no issues in the rain with no tarp as it has a bucket bottom. Only thing I've noticed is the stitching on the top of the swag has turned a little pink due to the sun... I love it
@@tonyfletcher1718 thanks is going really well I just really lost a bit of interest in making videos actually let's be honest I ran out of time!! Didn't realise how much time it takes to do this
I primarily want it to produce focus stacking. My Sony A7r4 does not support focus stacking. If this is possible, Does Focus 2 produce a combined RAW, or do you need to focus stack the images manually in Photoshop?
I purchased 8 months ago,the latest pro version the app for smatrfone does not work well, qualitatively it is inferior to the one for apple the performance stated is not real, the support does not propose solutions, the cost is exgerated for the performance provided in confont of the free qdslrdashboard app has decidedly inferior performance. They regretted the purchase
Thanks for the tutorial. I'm contemplating getting the arsenal 2. Does it automatically saves the deep color image? Also, I don't mean this in a bad way, but your flashing icons are a bit distracting while trying to follow.
Yeah the deep colour saves automatically, I found doesnt matter if you slide the slider or not its saves :D Yeah cheers for the feed back... i'm still a noob
It appears like the Arsenal uses the Auto Focus feature on the camera. Could be that the camera mechanics are having issues focusing in each of the shots? Lets say you shot the same scene without Arsenal. Just manually adjusting the focus with the auto focus. Sometimes the camera autofocus misses. That might be the situation here?
when you take the photos with long exposure, they are stacked in the mini sd card, does arsenal processes them to have only one, or i do have to process them on my computer?
Interesting, thanks. I also have an Arsenal 2 and have been experimenting with it. I find Deep Color to be the better image a good portion of the time, but not always - the worst image was a shot of just the sky and clouds where Deep Color pushed everything to have a blue cast. My issue is that I can't get handheld mode to work reliably - it won't show me the image on my camera when I flip it down like it's supposed to, and the lights on the Arsenal 2 stay in the "breathing mode" (how they're supposed to look in handheld mode) for a few shots but then change to a different pattern and it's hard to tell if it's still working properly. It does also seem to lose battery charge quickly - I haven't used it for an extended period yet but 10-15 minutes of experimenting seem to use 20% or more.
@@darknstormyimages Nope - an old Nikon D5500. Flipping down in handheld mode and displaying the photos worked for two photos with the latest Arsenal 2 firmware, but then stopped working again. Restart of the Arsenal 2 didn't fix it. I contacted them and heard back that they'd pass the issue on to the development team. Hoping it's fixed in a future version since they still need to add the Panorama feature and a few other little things.
Hi , Thank you for youtr explanation, i just go the arsenal 2 , i try like one hour to connect , but is dosent give me no recognize the wifi and not the Bluetooth, i send a mesage to arsenal ,its drive me crazy lol . Wait that they replay me.
@@darknstormyimages thank you very much i see this instructions in the first before i use, i was update and followed all this. The problem is that my phone not recognize the wifi, or not recognize my Bluetooth becuase of that is dosent let me continue in the arsenal app, its show me all the time is looking for Bluetooth or wifi, and is not connected , i can send you photo by email.
No you only get to focus one point. The instructions say to tap the closest point you want focused. They have taken away the feature to select your own focus points... I don't know why
Yeah, I really can't understand why they removed the option to select the focus points, makes no sense and just increases the margin for error in the process... I'm getting a good few disconnects, on the A7 III. Hopefully they fix the bugs 🤞🏻
Very disappointed in this product. Absolutely no customer service. Still waiting for answers to questions asked over 2 months ago. And surprise, no panorama feature.
Why did you return it so quickly, they are constantly fixing the bugs? its not an off the shelf item its a kickstarter its going to happen. What bugs did you find?
And just so you don't make my mistake, on af lens work! LOL I did try out the timelaspe the other night, and was pretty happy after working through a few issues..
Nice video! I noticed the same problem with the battery life and I’m using a Canon 6d. I have the Pro version which will let you charge and use it at the same time. So I guess I will have to purchase an external power supply while using it. Especially if I’m going to do a long Timelapse which I have not tested yet. Seems like they need a lot more updates. Panorama’s do not work yet and they told me they are still working on it. Not sure why they would ship a product out when not all of the advertised features do not work. Also I’m seeing a lot of blank images on the micro SD card. Anybody else’s noticing blank images? I hope you continue to test and show your results.
That’s what I’m seeing on the Arsenal App on my iPhone from the micro SD card in the Arsenal along with the actual images. Multiple blanks and the actual images. I have not tried it on my PC to see if it sees the same thing. Not seeing it on my Camera SD card where it saves also.
@@airborne10x have you tried using the deep colour slider? Do they appear as you do this? Remember your camera will alway take a picture as normal. Arsenal will never mess with the normal function of that
They are just there without me doing anything other than taking a picture. The first time I had to format the SD card from the App since there were so many. But I still see them but not as many. It is an old micro SD 64 GB card from my drone so that may be the problem. Seems like every time I take an image to stack it adds more blanks. Just notice them when I open images from the App. The Deep Color slider does not add any blanks. I need to take the SD card out and plug it in my PC and see. Will try tomorrow.
@@airborne10x the reason why i ask is, the blank images on my SD card in the arsenal I slide the deep colour slider and the picture is revealed.. strange
Great video! I was having the same problem with the stacking and have not had the time to try the different settings so this was very helpful! I'm not getting very good battery life with mine after using it for about 40 minutes it's down to around 15 % left. Are you getting better battery life? I'm using a Nikon Z 6II. Thanks
Heyy thanks for your comments,. About battery life I don't think I've used it long enough in one go to realise how long the battery lasts so I'm going to do some tests and will get back to you
@@darknstormyimages I've had similar results with Battery life and I'm thinking about those little phone charger batteries. Maybe I'll add a small one while in operation? not sure that will even work.
@@aerialmonkeyproduction4258 Sure will work... just something extra you have to do. and then extra shit you need to plug in.. I just think between every shoot you plug it into charge. This is why Arsenal sells battery packs as they know its not going to be good on battery
Nice summary, thanks! I just set up my Arsenal Pro 2 last night, and a quick macro focus-stack was also my first test. Like you, it took me a few tries but I eventually found an arrangement of settings that got some good results. Lots of trial-and-error involved, but it's a start.
Where is the advertised Live Panorama mode??? Here's video capture of the options displayed on a Arsenal Pro 2 with a SONY A7III as you can seen there is no option for Live Panorama mode? ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Nk26t0s13OE.html WTF. False advertising?? My team is so frustrated this is the main reason we purchased this device. Not only that the team on the arsenal website hasn't responded to any of our inquiries which is very suspicious. It's been over a week now. Multi times we've reached out.
We purchased the Arsenal 2 and cannot locate the Live Panorama mode anywhere on the app. We’ve noticed it’s not appearing on any product review videos either. False bill of goods?
it has not been implimented yet. In one of the recenty updates before shipping they said this will be realesed not long after shipping ha been completed. So software issues I think they said
They advertise it on the main page witharsenal.com/ scroll down a bit. " We’ve worked through most of the feedback and issues that have been reported, but Panorama needs a little more work on our end. To make sure everyone has a great experience with Pano, we’re going to hold off on rolling out the Panorama feature with the Arsenal 2 app launch. We expect to push a firmware update with Panorama sometime in January. - They are running a bit late... There must of been another update about it I missed
