while i really love the visible skin texture and scarring of the model, it was really not necessary to use a dark foundation even if the intent was not racist. yes, kaeya is tan and no kaeya is not specified to be black. he can be dark skinned and of any race. but darkening skin with foundation can be seen as racist and make people uncomfortable even if it looks more accurate to the character. all in all, this is actually a wonderful tutorial on cosplay makeup. just make sure to avoid stuff like this in the future please
I’m not white but I have been doing makeup for years and one tip I can give you is too use bronzer and blush to make you not look so pale. I notice with a lot of gojo cosplayers I’ve seen irl they say that they don’t use bright foundation but their normal complexion because the lashes and brows automatically make you look pasty and pale 😭
