Not true OMoose. she is just a s lovely and they are just as affectionate today as they were back then. She is almost 50 lbs heavier though due to baby #3 that is growing in her. Don't be such a cynic Love lives on if you let it. Jim
... and in 10 years she will weigh 160 lbs. and she will not even let him touch her anymore. The warm and fuzziness wore off in less than a year, then reality kicked in .
Ladies take note. The guy has thought this out, he knows, he's made the commitment. If you don't feel like this outwardly or inwardly then don't say yes. He deserves this kind of response outwardly, but at a minimum you should feel like this. Scream of joy, excitement, jumping up and down, tears of joy. And.... if you're so surprised he's asking, then you weren't thinking about it before and maybe you should think about it. Clearly this had crossed this young ladies mind once or twice.
Ed, They are doing very well thank you. They have two beautiful children and I have to say, as Kate's father, I envy the truly passionate love they still have for each other. My wife and I have been together for 42 years and we would both like some of the fire they have back in our relationship.
I've watched a lot of these proposals but this was by far the best reaction I've ever seen. This girl is truly in love and overjoyed by the proposal. It should be a wonderful marriage!
It takes a lot to make this old cowboy tear up. I think I just saw true love in her eyes and on her face. It's not something you see very often, I know, I've been around awhile. I wish you all the best that man can offer. Kate, brand this one and keep him off the range. Nick, don't you dare screw this one up and let her get away, it would make all us guys look bad. But if you do manage to flush love down the drain son, Watch your back, I will find you.

For those of you who are wondering, Kate and Nick are still very happily married with two children Lilly who is now 3 1/2 and Charlie who is now a year old. What you saw in the video was Princess Bride "true love." The very best :)
I have to say, I watched this years ago, and have watched sooooo many proposal videos since, but this one is still by far my favorite. You both are so adorable and I hope you have a very happy life. <3
