@@kaitiekelly1377 overall, yes. But I also had a lot of support from my admin. If I called them out with their phone and they refused to put it in the rack, my principal would come and pick up their phone and put it in the office for the rest of the day. I’m hoping they follow through the same next year
It was so helpful to hear you talk about your Do Now tasks for Middle Schools. I was wondering how I could implement it for the same reasons you said, to set the tone after the class and classroom transitions
So glad you found it helpful! I set timers in my classroom whenever students are working on something. For example, 5 min to work on the do now independently first, then maybe 25 minutes for their work time on whatever the assignment is. This could work when the timer goes off/last 5-10 minutes of class to do your exit assignment
Hi! How did you guys do the water tubing? Do people offer water activities like that on the beach? I am going in a few months and am wondering if we should sign up for outside of the hotel excursions
Not trying to be weird but where do you find this mini fridge and how expensive was it cause I’m trying to find like a cheap one because my parents won’t let me have one that’s too expensive so I’m trying to find one.
I really want an oil diffuser in my room but I feel like I’ll get complaints from parents or admin… have you had issues with it or any student allergies?
No, never!! I always ask students in the beginning of the school year if they are allergic to certain smells and the only one I had to not use last year was peppermint, but that's it. Usually parents and students love it!
