Little tip: I know you're no longer a first year teacher, but as a 2nd grade teacher myself, only put out one or two things on the early finisher cart! Here's why: You have such great things on that cart, and kids might want to rush to get done, which is obviously not good. Instead, just put out a few options each day (alternate them every day too) so the kids want to finish, but they aren't so rushed. Of course you can do whatever you want, but its just a small tip!
