Wow what a sucky ending, glad that wasn’t the real one. The timeline inconsistencies are the worst. The timeline within the show is about 3-4 years. Luanne didn’t move in with them just one year ago.

This ending is fine in my opinion but the official ending we got was much better. I like how Hank and Bobby finally share and interest and it’s sorta like Hank is passing down the torch to Bobby.

Would not have been a good ending. It's too difficult they went through allllll that in a year. Plus Bobby and Joseph went from at least 7th grade to high school during the show's run.

Honestly this was already a bit after the point where I stopped liking the show so as a finale it was meh for me. This extra scene feels more like awkward jokey exposition trying to make sense of the show's warped continuity than anything and I don't really like it for that. Better it wasn't included in the episode proper I'd say.
