We loved to explore. We decided to start filming it. Adventures, sports, history, experiences of all types.
Formerly Somethin' Or Other Tour or SOOT.tv. Now called vVARIETY, the Vertlife Variety show.
Hosted by Dylan Sesco (@dylansesco)!
We like to explore things. Whether it's an abandoned urban exploring situation, or a live sports game at a historic stadium, or just a strange museum. Our goal is to deliver a different experience every week, you never know what you're gonna get. It's a real grab bag of content.
That's The Somethin' Or Other Tour [SOOT.tv] and now vVARIETY!
We've been in abandoned factories and abandoned hospitals, we've been at historic landmarks like the Empire State Building and Fort Point, we've watched the 49ers and Raiders battle it out at live NFL games, and more.
We're just trying to go on adventures and explore the world and share it with folks. We hope you enjoy.
Nice. This sub was "docked" in Stockton, CA for service in the port just inside I-5 for a few years starting around 1976. As a kid, we would drive over the bridge to see it in the water..it was always a treat even though we saw it for two straight years while being bussed to school! Know I know where it is!
I use to live here and as teens we would go there at night and its not a fun place to be. theres no lights its completely dark at night. and back then we only had flash lights. usually one. sometimes there would be a watch person at the front gate and tell all the teenagers to go away. going in there at night and having the wind blow thro the open windows def added to it. and the gunshot are from the near by gun range down the street. theres also a small airport too. Def was memorys ill never forget going in there.
because there werent many fans coming to games. It was so bad the nfl refused to show their games on tv so as a compromise they agreed to close down mt davis in exchange they would have raider games shown on national tv
We tried to explore there and got chased by a white truck with some guys standing in back of truck with shotgun and a another car with them and they starting shooting at us before we could even get tot t he gate !we were just 3 girls and my Young niece! They were crying and I was driving so fast wonder what they were hiding there 😮all we wanted to do was take pics of history landmarks smdh!!
Great video bro! I was lucky enough to go one time a few years ago so I’m happy I can say I at least went once before it ends for good. Just wish I would have took some pictures.
You make some great videos and go to great events I love watching your videos. They’re awesome. Keep up the good work. My question is are you gonna be coming to the A’s versus Yankees game on the 22nd of this month?
I like the aesthetic of dingy early 20th century mixed with 80's/90's neon colors in the grandstand area. Much better than what Belmont Park on Long Island used to look like with the early 20th century and 70's mix in their grandstand. Luckily, they are building a brand new grandstand that's going to open in the Spring 2026 racing season. The bad part is that it will likely be the sterile medical facility style look that most contemporary construction has. They are also making the track to have the ability to have winter racing so Aqueduct in Western Queens can close for the full completion of the Resorts World hotel addition there.
I once drove through Locke by accident. As soon as I got back on the river road away from Locke, a severe heaviness lifted from my chest and I felt like I could finally breathe. It was so weird because I didn’t even notice the heaviness while I was in Locke.
The idea for watching and listening to classic TV and radio broadcasts would apply only to the Ballers' road games. Enjoy Catfish Hunter, Vida Blue, Kenny Holtzman, Reggie Jackson, Mark McGwire, Dave Stewart, Mike Moore, Rollie Fingers, Joe Rudi, etc. Play your classic Athletics game at Raimondi. Keep the ballpark warm for the Ballers. A Field of Dreams in this John Fisher nightmare.
I am currently listening to the 1992 Red Sox - Athletics game from early September. When the Ballers aren't on the field, why not turn Raimondi into a "Field of Dreams" for the history of the Athletics. Fans could come in, sit down, plug in their earphones and listen to classic radio broadcasts or watch classic TV games.
Cool history of the place. Sad to see all the out buildings gone and the hotel so bad …. Last time I was there had to be around 97 and it had some graffiti, but nothing like now. And the marble stairs, complete elevator, doors, walls were still there plus the out buildings. That were there were great. Ice fridges and wood fired stoves.
