In this video he talks about a place that offers among other things is your typical Fish n Chips, and they use HADDOCK,which I strongly disagree with because I worked at Irish restaurant in MANHATTAN, specifically in midtown Manhattan called THE OLD STAND,and Margo with Pat were the owners and she would order Scrod, which is baby Cod,best type of fish and use regular batter or beer batter with French fries, vegetables and tartar sauce and lemon and recently I asked my daughter about a Irish restaurant up the road called CONNELLYS, on Grand Avenue in Maspeth,QUEENS and I asked her how much for the fish n Chips and she said 23.00 dollars, and I said no, that's way to expensive as I know where to get Scrod, make my own French fries and fry it myself and probably spend about 8.00 for everything because I know what the prices are, but I will continue watching this video.
Born and raised in Mississauga for 30 years, moved to Ottawa 15 years ago. My first question when I came to Ottawa was "What the hell is a Shawarma?!?", now they are one of my fav foods. For good Traditional Syrian Shawarma go to Mr. Fez on Bank Street in O-Town. You won't forget it!
they are good, but not the best there closest competition closed a few years ago was way better. I heard one of the main cooks from Penrose opened up a shop on St Clair, I\'ve heard it's the best but haven't been there yet.
@@5StarKassar I don’t love the sauce but I like it very much I’m rating it a 9 lol 😂 I do think those 10s are for sure hard to come by but they’re out there my brother
@@drecarter2052 I get what you’re coming from There hotness level on their sandwiches are mad spicy 🥵 If you ever go to LA, try Howlin rays. It’s better than Dave’s hot chicken Their sauce and chicken sandwich’s are top notch.
For Old School. The Apache Burger at Apache Burgers is the best. I agree between the two. Although Johnny's gets more attention as classic Scarborough. Mojo burger is a better burger. Golden Star and Shamrock burger are forgettable.
How would you rate it vs "SCHOOL" OR "Liberty Commons at Big Rock Brewery" for brunch ?. There are a ton of brunch spots in Toronto, its great to learn about a new one. Thanks
Ozzy’s is up there a lot of flavour, juicy really well done Shack shack is great too but different burgers are better than others Toronto has a massive selection of burger variety’s
Just down the street from where I live. I always see the huge lineups, especially on the weekends but I've never eaten in there before. I'll have to try it our now.
Sounds more fun than it actually is. My concern is half of the food is rushed and the other half are vendors selling unique items that nobody asked for. Anyways thanks for the video
