Master rank reward is a weapon type based on the opponent weapon, nothing special... But is not that easy , so I'm focused on defeat all enemies in the dojo on master rank as a personal challenge... and sometimes reaching 10000+ points to get very high rank in the leaderboard...I will post those videos later on
@@Overlord35844 oooo so it's only a weapon? I thought you needed master in dojo to unlock the person's moveset. I guess you increase bond for that then? Im wondering because i just bought the game like 2 days ago.
You can unlock 1 move of that person's fighting style in the dojo (not for all), but it's very simple because you just have to defeat your opponent and get the lowest rank (novice) regardless of how many points you earn, the game tells you don't worry Increase the bond to complete the combat style to 100%
These videos I'm uploading are clips from my first playthrough on Twilight difficulty, however I will upload some clips on Midnight difficulty in the dojo later for sure... I've got some no damage fights and very high rank in the leaderboard on that difficulty...and obviously I will upload ALL dojo fights on Master rank (the last ones on Midnight)
Dude you're just built different wtaf did i just watch. Like there were so many times i thought youd miss it or get hit but no, you never got hit and never missed the head. Im actually just awe struck with how masterful that gameplay was. I hope to one day get this cracked at greatsword.
Ok, first off: great display of skill. But what the actual f*ck was up with those hitboxes? There were at least 12 times you should have been hit in this run. Deviljho has massive hitboxes and especially his tail when he hip-checks. Did you just pixel-perfectly dodge his massive hitboxes?
Requires very good positioning, it's not pixel perfect positioning, I learned the pattern and practicing made the safe window clearer for me...yeah its not easy
Just when I thought it can’t get better, that final hit happened… Your understanding of the monsters is absolutely incredible. Every time I struggle with a monster, I visit you channel to get a better view of it. Couldn’t ask for better runs! Hope to see you rock it in wilds 🫡
Wow that's crazy. I nearly ran out of time doing this hunt even though I was getting in tons of charge attacks on his head. Do you develop the strategies yourself or is there some resource that details ideal positioning for monsters? I've always been curious how to consistently manipulate monsters to turn into my attacks instead of doing an attack that rotates them (Brachydios and Tigrex for example).
I learned the strategies observing strong speedrunners and optimizing the technique with my own mind, to help I can tell you that positioning is not only hitting the monster on the weak spot but also inducing the monster to do a specific attack that changes based on where you are that allows you to make damage in the shortest time possible, so for example Alatreon will turn around exposing the head for a triple charged GS attack if you stay at the correct distance (near the tip of the tail) and place(behind or nearby sides/behind) however if you fail the positioning it will do another attack and you will lose dps
You need to stay near the tip of the tail to make him turn around, thats the right distance, if you are interested i've pinned a comment with a link of an updated version of this run
Impressive run. Do you have any advice on brachy in general? I hunted it countless times now but can’t seem to understand its ai and patterns… trying to cut it sub 5 too!
Yeah brachy AI is annoying for speedrunning, focus on positioning and timing to hit the head just like I did, theres no other way, use punishdraw is very effective 2:33 if valor bar is full after stun him as you can see here you can hit brachy with 2 triple charged attack, to 1 single draw , to 1 last triple charged , thats good easy damage
This is insane. As a GS main just finished this quest for the first time it took me nearly 40mins. Just wondering how come his explosion attack only does so little damage to your valor dodge. I valor dodged the same attack it drained a big chunk of my health.
