hello, I have a long wire around 20/30 m and the (tr)usdx QRP, plus of my FT818ND (I ever have the tuner LDG Z-817 for yaesu). However, seeing your good video, I would like to by the ATU-100 for the (tr)usdx. Is the unun 9:1 necessary or without unun the tuner direct to long wire work well? thanks by advance. 73/88 Fab.
Hi Didier, have you tested keying the Hermes remotely over the internet? I'm looking for a solution to remotely key my rig that is located in another town but for the love of god, I cannot find a solution for that. Even the FlexRadios seem not to be able to do this (in theory yes, but in practice there is too much latency and the remote cw functionality seems to be poorly implemented)... 73! Simon
for this QSO , was using a Hermes Lite 2 with a Homebrew tube amplifier. The Transceiver is a kind of black box and nothing special from the front panel since everyting is on the computer screen

Hello Didier; Thank you very much for the video. I'm very happy for the contact I hadn't had yet with Brunei Darussalam, it was an honor. My antenna was pointed at about 30° towards Europe and there was still 103° more or less to direct at your station. The tests between Hexbean and Vertical are very interesting, congratulations. I hope to meet you again Didier. All the best, good Dx's... 73 Danilo PY2XL
So happy to read you here. I was long path with Brasil (Short path signals were very poor). Great Amateur Radio QSO very far from 599 TU and this is the way to go . Take care Dan and C U very soon on the air. Best 73s Didier
But the Nextion does not need any calibration. I think you need to go to the Ubitx google group and even in youtube you can find a lot of information regarding the ubitx calibration
Super interesting my friend. I looked on QRZ but couldnt find any information. Do you still use this setup? I am wanting to get a HL2 erly next year. Thank you 73 de VK1DON
You might want to try the Hermes Lite with the actual build of Thetis for an HL2 . Overall, the Hermes Lite is a terrific low cost SDR that rivals and beats rigs costing into the thousands!
Hello George. I have the Hermes lite and even the previous Hermes and definitely both are really great. For CW mode i am using a homebrew K3NG CW keyer . Hope you will receive yours soon
