I am completely starstruck right now! Thank you for taking the time out of your busy day to comment on this reading. I am an English teacher and was trying to find new material for my students to read this summer and I came across your beautiful story and knew instantly my students would love it as much as I did. This is random but I just wanted to say I read your short story as a kid and I always remembered it! It pops in my head now and again and I finally managed to find what it was called and who wrote it.
