He is called Young Odda because he is named after his father who is called Odda or Odda the Elder & the same goes for Young Ragnar except his father was called Ragnar the Fearless or just Ragnar. Thank you for your reactions, I now have another TLK reactor to watch!!! Also, the main characters from King Aethelred the 1st & Alfred's brother) on up are historical figures...even the Danes such as Guthrum, Ubba & more as you watch, I just don't want to spoil it for you. The battles are historical too.
@@DariusRomelloAutry Thank you for watching this great show, It has a sequel movie too that just came out last April. I don't know where you are in this show yet, I just found you today lol
@@DariusRomelloAutry most definitely bud. Uhtred son of Uhtred, aka Uhtred Ragnarsson. I was actually planning on rewatching the series when your video popped up the other day. Will definitely be following. Are you still on the first season? If you ahead a bit? Either way, excited to find fellow Viking ⚔️ Little recommendation. If you dig TLK, I suggest you check out The Winter King. Its by the same writer. One season out so far, hopefully more to come 🙏
I personally think this is a sad period in Europes history. I wish the Christian never converted Europe. That jew is not owr ancestor as Europeans. Pagans worshipped is more personal and based on there own ancestors and nature. Also they might worship the founder of a tribe. Or "The Blood Of The First Man". Not the devil like many people assume. Sometimes I wish Europeans would drop that Jewish god. When they took on Christianity they lost who they truly are and took on the identity of the Jews. Angelo Saxons were Vikings pagans at one point too. They came to England from the same area Vikings come from. England means "Anglo lands" ❤😊
Hey. If you're having issues with uploading TLK (I've heard it's a really difficult show), might I suggest breaking an episode into two videos. So Part 1 could be like 12 minutes or whatever and also contain a link in the description to the Part 2
Young Odda stealing Utred's glory from killing the most feared dane of the time sent utred over the edge. Utred views reputation above all else (the equity of Valhalla). Old Odda kept his word and is honorable despite his bald head and unappealing face. Alfred is too proud to admit he was fooled by an overambitious inept coward of a welp in young Odda.
It’s so layered and I feel like these basic things right now are setting the structure to brew up some intense conflict throughout the rest of the show.
@@DariusRomelloAutry Yes RU-vid does that. Still there are ways to avoid it. Like blurring the scene and lowering the sound … we watched the series and ww know what happened and when so if you react to a certain scene we can catch it without having to see exactly what it was. Hope i made sense 🫣
All the actors are great, but David Dawson who plays Alfred is on another level. I can't wait for you to see him throughout the show, especially in the third season.
I adore your reactions! Your observations and comments and intuition shows that you really understand and click with the show and are enjoying it so far. It really does feel like you're the target audience 😅
Glad you see the genuine interest I have in the show and these characters and glad you enjoy my interpretations 🙏🏼. Can’t wait to see how the rest unfolds
I'm glad u can appreciate my favorite show. Some of my friends lack the intelligence or attention span to understand its beauty. The first two seasons are epic.
It’s always such a treat seeing people react to this show, it’s sad that it’s usually get ignored because when it first came out I believe it was the time when GoTS5 was going on as well as VikingsS3 so it had a lot of competition at that time and no one gave it a shot but the writing of this show is easily as good as them. Definitely keep watching, the first season is a bit slow despite how quick based it is but in season 2 it’s where the story truly picks up. Also your perspective is really cool so i will definitely rewatch this show for the 5th time with you as often as i could. Currently i'm reading the books the show is based on and it's as good as the show.
That makes sense, I can see how and why GOT upstaged this show, considering how popular GOT was during the last few seasons of the it’s run. The writing here is very good, and is in the ballpark with GOT. Glad u enjoy my perspective in it. It’s a good show with some good acting for sure
@@DariusRomelloAutry the acting is my favorite thing in this show, it doesn’t have the budget when it comes to sets and other stuff like GoT for example so it simply had to rely on the acting and writing and imo it’s the biggest advantage of this show. And after reading the books I appreciated the casting so much because they’re perfect for their characters, like when i read the books i can picture the actors in my head and imo that shows me that the casting was on point. And Unlike other shows i think this show is one of the rarest shows where instead of it getting worse as seasons go on, it gets BETTER which's a rare nowadays unfortunately.
I just started the series again for about the 14th time. I've watch both of your videos describing what you're watching. I really like it because you're watching it for the first time and I love watching the first time reactions. Also, I've never watched from an actor's perspective before. I'm far from anything close to being an actor. This perspective fascinates me. Anyway, I've subscribed to your channel.
I’m glad you’ve watched it so many times haha, it further confirms that I’ve picked the right show to watch. I’m glad you’re enjoying my perspective as I hoped it would be something unique to offer combined with a great show like this.
@@Kamranesfahani oh yeah that’s great to hear. There’s so much that goes on I’m sure you get a new piece of entertainment every time you watch it. The writing is amazing
