Counter-Strike isn't the biggest revenue generator for valve. Thats without a doubt still steam. They could (if they want to) delete the whole game and the revenue, without it hurting the company too much.
Yep, that is correct, I should clarify in terms of game they develop. Steam takes 30% of game sales and 15% of market sales so it was sorta obvious it is the biggest money make. But yes, I should've clarified
I must admit, I do not, but I think I am correct in saying that is the biggest event of the year akin to a major. In the past few years, majors have been once to twice a year.
Interesting things, subscribed. Also, fun fact I had sold more than 100 agents between Aug 26 and today Sep 23, no idea how many exactly but 100 pieces is the minimum amount (I believe it's more than 120 but I'm too lazy to check). MADNESS and I LOVE IT!
@@SkinomiCS2 I'm buying and selling for a couple of years now and I made quite a lot of money with Stockholm tbf... Since then I'm only investing more and more, I'm not that rookie anymore )) I had the trigger discipline on.
Great Video! Could you do a video that highlights roughly how many of each sticker capsules from stockholm antwerp and paris still exist. I know paris is getting opened heaps
Hi mate, that is a great idea. However, I would likely delay that to after the Shanghai Major. If they used the same designs again, the thesis will change quite significantly. Paris and Copenhagen are available in huge quantities still atm.
Anyone saying the agents increase is bubble just wants them to go back down so they can get in. People have caught on that agents will never return. New agents that do release will be extremely cheap and have insane supply due to the player base increase. The old agents that are extremely rare will be the agents everyone wants . Their supply is close to gloves and it is not growing like gloves. They are also similar to gloves in the way you see the sleeves at all times. We will see good agents be hundreds of dollars.
I think you have a fair point, although there is every chance there could be a correction, albeit not to the prices seen a month ago. The second tier agents have grew like 150% in the past month, that is a lot.
I agree, I play the game to enjoy friend's companionship more so than the game itself right now. Although I find watching the pro scene still quite fun.
Wasn't it leaked that new agents aren't coming out with the new Operation? That is why they went up in the first place. Yes I grabbed 1 of every agent except Kev :(
Good investment. Although I am not sure about what you said, firstly, a new operation is not confirmed but also new operation without agents sounds like less money for Valve. We'll see, everything is on the table for now.
@@SkinomiCS2 Yeah sorry, I wanted to edit that first part but didn't. I'm excited regardless of what happens. I've been playing cs since 2002 and they always surprise us with some banger content. The game isn't this old and this relevant still for no reason XD
Well it probably is in a bubble but that doesn't mean all agent skins will fall. Some skins you won't get from an operation so some will be (kinda) stable but will overall drop a bit

Just to clarify, this is not a sponsorship, but rather a partnership. I have and will receive no real-life money from this. I’m introducing itrade gg which is a bot trading service for CS skins in exchange for them providing data that helped me with sections of my video. The website is still in development, and it does not have money deposits nor withdrawals yet, only trades. If you sign up using my affiliate link, I will receive 30% of the commission on trades made in the form of credits on the website. The website earns around 6% on most skins, 8% on glove skins, and 10% on stickers as they are more unstable in price. You’ll also get 30 cents as a bonus, which you can use to trade for 10 3-cent items straight away.
What I would do is actually check the item you want across a variety of websites, it defers for each item. Tools like steam inventory helper (extension for chrome) help a bit here.
it's funny how these CS2 channels continuously push out new videos with clickbait titles talking about the same old useless trivial shit over and over again while desperatingly waiting for valve to drop some updates
Tbf, dota does still have a dedicated player base although small than cs's. I'd argue steam as a platform probably subsidies it more. I think Valve should work on both equally, that would be the correct thing to do.
All of the around $1 cases in the rare pool have been climbing non stop. Prisma 1&2. Danger zone and horizon have all gone up 30% or more since august. The unboxing numbers show that trend should continue. Im also noticing that as one hits a big gain, unboxing numbers for a cheaper one pick up.
Well, yes and no, depending on what type of agents they bring out. If they are cooler, then maybe. But here's the thing, dragon lore is still expensive despite gunir being the better looking skin.
I thought a lot of investing in agents 2years ago I just bought 4 cause I expected a new operation and the old agents to kinda get outdated, sadly 2/4 are way up lmao
Honestly it probably wont effect the old agent skins much if at all because they will be new agents not recycled agents if they add an operation so the old agents supply isn't going up
I prefer borderless, but I honestly could not tell you. I don't think they will continue the same designs from Copenhagen, Antwerp, Paris and Stockholm though. Sale numbers have not done well for Copenhagen.
i was looking for something to watch with my meal and this was not only perfect length but also very informative <3 love the content you gained a new sub keep it up
I have a couple hypothesis. Firstly, the lack of operations and therefore the lack of new agents means agents are in limited supply. Secondly, the tier 1 agents grew over time but these tier 2 agents didn't grow, the market is now correcting itself.
CS has always been valves unwanted kid. That's why they put no real work into it. Putting together a case with workshop skins made by the community can't be that hard but the revenue is insane. They just keep us interessted with "big" updates so that they don't lose out on the cash. Next big update will be months after the major, propably april-may 2025. Too many expect something to happen soon but this company actually doesn't care.
Hi, I should probably put USD right next to the CNY prices. Noting this for next time. Although the purpose for this section is to mainly show what items are increasing rather than thier price. Thanks for you suggestion
