If it’s the short water pump what’s the rotation on the water pump or the way the belt should spin the water pump to? Im having issues with overheating , possibly misrouted belt
@@joedionicio8046 both long and short water pump spin the same direction, I think the only water pump that spin the different direction is the LT1 water pump
I see the dipstick tube is on the drivers side, while the 350cu in 4-bolt 1975 era is passengers side. Like you, trying to use the OE cast iron exhaust manifolds doesn't have room for right side oil tube. It right in the way. Didn't want to do heads as all matching the 86 Monte SS look. Still scratching my head! Thanks for the video.
Great video, thanks 🙏 for not editing your mistakes, I seen a lot of ignition cylinder replacement videos and all them dude broke a screw and edited that part out. Only seen 1 guy say there’s 1 hidden screw the rest just said “grip it and rip it!”😂.
My first car i owned was a 1982 Buick skylark.600 bucks This was in 1994. They look similar. When you turned the wheel all the way to one side or the other it would stall. 😂 my second car was a 1984 dodge ommi. When you shut the car off it would continue to try to run. The girls loved it. 😐 Love old cars.
Pick up coil in the distributor needs to be replaced. What happened to the impala? I have 2 1966 project impalas. Fuel pulse on injection is controlled by the spark from the distributor. I had the same problem
Good point on the slack ..bad ass bro im getting ready to do my extended cab with the exception of breaking those clips its gotta get done though. Im glad i seen this video.
I want to put the exhaust manifolds back on my 66 327. Right now, mine has headers on it. Nice to see what the manifolds look like in your videos along with the proper alternator brackets. I'll try and find the right ones for my 66.
I have a 66 Caprice that has been restored, but I would like to do a little work on the front end just to clean it up a bit. Your videos have been great! Really helping me with disassembly and reassembly. Thanks!
So for the uppers I just switched the ball joints, and for the lowers u have to buy the control arm for a c10, u can order the 6 lug rotor on summit racing
I am currently going thorough this right now on my 66 Malibu on the 283 I am trying to achieve the stock appearance of all the brackets and pullies, and belts, , I am using a laser set up in the v-grooves to line up because I also want to run a 2 belt on the alternator like what you have, I literally have the same exact set you are doing in your video, "OH" currently that same 3 groove crank pully from Summit is now $58 bucks went up since you bought it, , what 2 years ago, any way I am glad I came across your video cause I am pulling my hair out, I want to make sure these belts are perfectly aligned in the pullies as you are doing, I will watch to the end to see how it turns out, Thank you for the video!!
