I play this music when an allied npc/dmpc goes down in combat for my campaign. The more serious stuff will come after the fighting is done, this is more like a musical cue telling the players they f'ed up
Shadow Dragon: Time to kill Marth and restart the game. Awakening: bruh, why kellam. Fates: not the killager! Echoes: VALBAR NO- (I thought they share the same letimotif so I put this comment here)
This track played after Emmeryn's death hits so hard, i mean, in every note I can feel the sorrow and the sadness that Chrom and everyelse feels, they don't want to fight, nobody in this chapter wants to fight, but there is not other option, this chapter feels like you've lost and must keep fighting to stay alive, it's a beautiful song and a epic prelude to "Don't speak her name"
My favourite part about this atmospheric music is that this very well could be what the enemy is hearing throughout the chapter as well. Being greatly demoralized to fight after what happened to the exhalt to the point where they’re only fighting out of respect for their leader. Regular enemies having their own dialogue and being humanized. And Mustafa (who is a literal berserker mind you) being pacifist and would’ve preferred the blood of no one to be shed.
Just finished this yesterday . My whole strategy was to go straight to Grima and beat him . I and Tharja just went up to him while Nori and Linfan protected ur flanks and the rest protected ur back . And ohh man my daughter's carried the whole thing while taking out enemies and dealing damage to Grima . Tharja protected me from Grima like 3 times other wise I would have died . This finally was so great . My only critic is that the game ended so early .
The moment was so tragic: Chrom and Lissa had just seen their big sister commit suicide, and they must already start fighting again, without taking the time to breathe On Mustafa's side it's the same. He had great respect for Emeryn, he doesn't want to hurt Chrom and his soldiers either. But he must do it for his honor but also for his family, if he disobeys the king he will kill his children and his wife
She literally carried me through the entire remainder of Awakening; and this is coming from someone who got so RNG screwed that my avatar was rendered useless.
@@unwithering5313 I S-supported her in my very first playthrough of Awakening. Loved her support conversations, and had an OP Manakete family as a result which just whooped the rest of the game's ass
Reminds me of Lucina bum rushing Grima and ending the map in one turn. She was a really strong dark knight and cut right through to Grima and hit him with Astra on Parallel Falchion twice and THEN activated Aether and hit him a second time since Aether let's you hit twice regardless of if you can double. She really wasn't kidding when she said she wouldn't lose again.
