What a great memory. Freedom, excitement and individuality. Now it’s state interference, state sponsored guilt trips and so called climate change. An opportunity for a repressive, anti democratic state to bully motorists.
Thanks for sharing what an amazing sight a mega mk1 cortina fan as my late father had a 4 door deluxe in the early 1970s an iconic car have some great memories of that car I'm pleased that people are keeping these cars alive and of course keeping memories alive well done
very pleasant film, about a very pleasant car! I've also seen Ford's film about the Corsair - which was impressive and STYLISH -as they (successfully) pointed out the stylishness of that model!

To COicultist. I know what you mean of course - BUT fishing with HOOKS instead of a net seems CRUEL to me. At least we think about such things today! But cars like these WERE nicer, though!
@@nygelmiller5293 Hooks are crueller than nets??? If you want to return fish barbs on hooks can be tamped down, try looking at "The Fish Locker" who has a high percentage of return. The fish caught was a small shark, I've never caught a decent game fish, but have caught plenty of mackerel to try to catch game fish. To be honest, half a carrier bag of mackerel is enough for me. Grilled or barbecued, they are an excellent feed. Fish tend to be dead by the time nets are recovered, often with an amount of bycatch. Have you ever eaten anything you have ever killed yourself, or a friend has caught for you? The most free-range of food that is exquisitely fresh. What you choose to do or not do is your business, but I find a sadness in what is now represented in adverts.
@@COIcultist thanks for replying! It's an interesting subject, that applies to us all! Yes, I know there is the problem of bycatch. But catching something on a hook, all the same, is cruel! Have you ever tried "VISH" , I.e. vegan fish? I tried it once, from a health shop. It seemed to all intents like real fish - but had a slight "taint" to the taste. Then I had VISH in a trendy restaurant- together with a high quality burger bun, and high quality salad! (And quite high price!). They really need to work on improving VISH, and making it a bit more affordable, than the more enjoyable version I had in the restaurant - it really seems within our grasp to invent such a thing! Early days yet! The Quorn brand does such nice "chicken" nuggets, etc. etc., because that is a quality brand, where EVERYTHING really is good. The fish in the sea are overfished now, so now's the time to pursue the development if VISH! And although fish CAN be returned to the sea, river, etc., I think it's cruel to catch them on a hook!
I was actually in that car was the last ride ov day. The driver got told off by marshals for going too fast on last straight. Shame they not holding shows anymore. Was my favourite 😥

Hi, there was a small wall just behind the cars. It was difficult so see, Unfortunately this car went back a bit to far coming to rest on its sills and had to be liffted back onto the grass. Fortunately there was no real harm done!
