Be careful with analysts who by default categorize brown and black people as winters out of ignorance. All races can be any season regardless of skin tone, hair and eye color, bc the UNDERtone is what matters. The 1st analyst I went to, thought like this and misanalyzed me. She thought spring and summer were only for "blondes like her". Kerry Washington is a Spring however. I suggest the channel Color Analysis Studio. You'll see 2 BW with 2 different seasons. And their system is so clear and logical 😅 Don't take it the wrong way but your clothes and makeup for introducing this video are winter colors. Maybe more on the Deep winter side, but winter should make you glow regardless, as your season. While you look ok with them, they don't make you shine. You could be a spring with "bright spring" as your best palette, and still look good with bright winter as a result. Because of the bright intensity. You'll see what I mean after watching the channel I suggested.
It's not the complexion sis, same complexion/tone does NOTHING. It's the UNDERtone that matters. Look for BW with same complexion + season for makeup ideas
It just dawned on me how crazy it sounds for us Black women to wonder if colors, which doesn't belong to anyone race, is for us... We are literally seeing what color palette works with us and not against. Of course, color analysis is BIPOC friendly the real question is, is the environment in which we enter into hospitable, is the staff respectful, easy-going, and inclusive? I can't wait to do a color analysis <3
It’s nice to see a black girl doing this because I was going to do it but I didn’t think they would have it in my shade. But seeing how well the shade match was for you I think I will give it a try!
Wait can they customize it if they don’t have your shade in their regular line? When I went to a Laneige store in Seoul I was paler than their palest shade but would they be able to make a paler shade at this service?
I’m surprised laneige has their cushion foundation in darker shades. With that being said are people only able to get their darker shades in their store because I haven’t seen this kind of shade range on their website.
Can you let us know what your skin tone is in a popular make up brand foundation? eg what is your foundation in MAC/ Bobbi Brown/ Uoma/ Fenty? Just so we have a better idea of what she's colour matching you to?
This video is Super helpful! Being neutral & black. When I use online color analysis. I kept getting deep auburn color season. The colors make me look sick. I know for a FACT. I am neutral leaning more cool. I’m going to use your recommendations! I’m looking into bright winter
I'm also a fellow bright winter myself, cool winter is my second best while autumn mute is my worst. Before trying the color analysis, I was thought I was a summer but turned out that electric, neon colors suit me better than the pastel/dusty color
What did you think about the wear of the foundation? I’ll be traveling to Korea in the spring, this looks like something cool to try out while I’m there. How much did this experience cost?
Honestly I love it! It has great coverage for my dark spots and it’s easy to build up. The price of the experience is based on if you want the cushion or the foundation.
I think because the high points of my face is yellow like the inner part, but the outside of my face is mostly red. I plan to do another personal color analysis just to compare if the results are different.
I live in Tulsa Oklahoma. Is OKC the closest there is to get it apostled? Also the the Korean consulate in Houston is our only option in the Midwest? Damn. Can I just mail my documents to OKC to get apolstled? I don't have a car.
Hey, I was living in Tulsa Oklahoma too. Yes OKC is the only place you can your diploma apostle. That’s a good question. I’m not sure if you can have it mailed since OKC was just an hour drive I figured I’d just go and get it done since it doesn’t take very long.😂
@@heyhaggy wow, thanks! I figured you at least would have been nearby if you had to go to OKC. That's a hellova coincidence. IDK how long you've been gone but the construction STILL isn't finished. But you knew that already, eh ?🤣
The other big cities that people don't know a lot about in South Africa are: Bloemfontein, Port Elizabeth(now known as Gqeberha), Pretoria, Nelspruit(Bombela), and Umtata
I'm a South African black male living in Cape Town and you two are such a lovely duo. I think the South African lady generalizes a tad too much. Some of the things she said were a little uncomfortable. Such a shame she could've represented.
