We are a small ranch in rural Ontario. First generation ranchers rejuvenating an old homestead farm. Our focus is on regenerative grazing techniques. We love our horses, pony and mule, riding and driving them as we grow. We wrench, repair and restore lots of old stuff, trucks, snowmobiles, dirt bikes, utvs and ATVs... O and tractors lots of that. Enjoy, we sure are.
Looks great, going to be lots of veggies. Love those bug jackets, they help so much other then when one gets up inside and bits your neck and ear a few times lol
They are great! Bens is the company, certainly make things a bit less bother some. Honestly thou the bugs aren't as bad as you would think with all the wet weather.
That's a cool little rig, Rob. What powers it? Is it just a little 4 stroke like a little 22hp kohler or something like that, just something bug enough to run a hydraulic pump?
Thanks' for the up date and hosting the conference this year. I saw the mini excavators at the auction. I paid the 7K for the backhoe on my 1025R and have got my money's worth. See you in a month.
Ya Jenny decided we were not busy enough 😂.... Glad to help it though. The vendor list is unreal, some really really good offerings to accompany a huge wealth of knowledge speaking and demonstratoring.
geez man, The body looks great for that year of truck; if the frame and undercarriage are solid, you'll have an awesome rig. All kinds of carb options for the 302, unless you wanted to stick with 2 barrel stock, that might be a little hard to track down. How long since it's been on the road? What an awesome find, good on ya!!
Lmao my 2016 Honda rancher 420 can tell you different. I don’t understand why people are buying belt drives and shitty built bikes. Just take it easy and buy a Honda.
That's a wonky looking tamarack, they usually grow tall and straight as a pin. Too bad about that axel on the bike. Were you ever able to get all that wood split? Despite the setbacks, its a good day's work.
Wouldn't it be nice for Ol Smokey to have power steering? I have the same issue with the Massey...40 point turn to get around a corner with anything on the loader.
Just a thought, and keep in mind that I'm just a carpenter, and definitely NOT a sawyer...When I'm re-sawing thick dimensional lumber on my bandsaw, I have to be sure that my blade teeth are sticky sharp, the band is singing tight, and the guides are as close to the material I'm sawing as possible otherwise the blade will just wander and follow the grain of the board and give me a terrible wavy result. Not sure if thats applicable to your mill and your situation, or if those adjustments are even possible.
The one thing about mine i dont like is the plastic floorboards. I ran a stick right through it. Fixed with a plastic welder no problem, but i wish it was covered with a skid plate maybe. Other than that we really enjoy it.
The Yanmar doesn't have a skid plate? My Yamaha Viking has a full skid plate. I thought they were exactly the same other than names on the sides. Skid plates are a must if riding off road.
Do you have an oil dilution problem. My sidekick gains about a cup and a half of gas in the oil after 20 hours. Kubota says that's normal for these engines if you don't run them hard. Just trying to see if others are having this same issue with the oil level rising.
