James is a dynamite player as he was in his days with Iggy & he's lost nothing in his playing. It would be cool to see Iggy show up for a number or two as they clicked like clockwork even though i will always love Ron Ashtons playing with the real early Stooges who i did see in 69 & 1970.
Great composition and brilliant video, James Williamson. The uniqueness of the music warrants such a beautiful and complementary video. It's all very well done. I appreciate it. Peter
James, thanks for the music. In my adolescence back in the 90s I listened to you, Jimi Hendrix and the Stones. You are in pretty good company 😉 Also I have to say I think it’s pretty cool what you did, being first an integral part of the coolest rock band in history and then putting the Gibson in the wardrobe to pursue a successful engineering career. …and I Got a Right. What a song. Two decades before its time. Incredible.
Your awesome. So proud to know how Great You've Done. The Music man from my Window and tree. You understand. It feels so good those great music guys that would walk past me or see me outside and knowledge I was actually alive. I remember one day You said, " Yes I heard you listening to the Monkeys." You showed me that White album. I loved your family. You parents, your joking laughing dad, you always looking pretty mom and your Sister Made Cheerleader. I was so alone in my world that woke up daily to Real Music and People who impacted my childhood. Saw you later back in Westwood in a MH back there. I was visiting the Pentecostal Family up front. I wrecked their motorcycle in front on your temp home back there. I know I was so happy to see you. Okay. I know I rambled on some, but happy things have attached to my soul in this life. Cindy
These dude's and their Iggy Pop impersonations though. lol. Remember drinking with dude from Icarus Line back in the day but what was this? It's only Rock-n-Roll I guess, ;-)
Warwick here: Amazing...I prefer this to the orig.....tasty guitar licks, fantastic vocal. It appears to be a progression on the Beck era Yardbirds/Stones/Kinks/Motown inspired Raw Power template.....the melodic guitar fills behind the vocal are a nice touch.
Longtime Stooges fan, first-time caller. Of all the late and lost Stooges tunes none, to my ear, carries the weight and emotional savagery of Open Up and Bleed. The Georgia Peaches version is probably untouchable but Carolyn Wonderland's version here adds so much dimension and soul. Wonderful.
glad to see and listen to this james. thank you for being this creative mind. your existence and work is very inspiring to me and i'm certain, to many others. hope you're well and safe. love from brazil.
