Kayakcountry videos are mostly based in the world of sea kayaking. This is a world of wild nature, where we can be inspired by beauty and perhaps even connect with the deeper meanings of life. The videos seek to convey some of the inspiring sights and sounds of nature, without any music overlay. They can also be used as a guide to your future expeditions, and by having the relevant O.S. map to hand it is possible to get a preview of each area and what to expect, and to pick out various features. A video can never recreate the feeling of being out there, but perhaps can help create the inspiration to venture forth and create our own adventures.

Lars messed up caulking that in. Maybe they didn't drill a vent hole in the front bulkhead. And Sri Lanka? They are not made in Norway?

Most of the waters off Ullapool to Capre Wrath are disfigured by fish farms, and by the detritus their operators dump with impunity.

Thank you for this video! I don't suck! I'm just a regular paddler!!! I appreciate how you mentioned to take your time. Oftentimes, for whatever reason, I feel I need to rush through these exercises, which undoubtedly uses up more energy as there's a direct correlation with rushing and failure! I need to remind myself to take my time.

Please, please can you guys post some more instructional videos…..I haven’t laughed so much since Manuel acquired his’Siberian Hamster’ in Faulty Towers. On a more serious note I echo the comments of others who have praised the fact that it’s great to see mortals trying out some of the manoeuvres that the pros seem to do so easily….it’s sobering to to be reminded just how difficult it might be getting back into your boat if things go wrong. Thanks for posting.

Wonders of Scotland!👻 "Fingal's Cave" From where comes the sound of the flute. Can there be a cave,,,from which the sweet sound of the flute floats? You will think that you are either haunted or giving a joke. No mosquitoes, one of the amazing sea caves in the world is Fingals Cave. It is located next to Staffa, an uninhabited island off the west coast of Scotland. This cave is also called Sur cave. In the 18th century, Joseph Banks and his group first discovered the sound of this melody. Bank's team was enthralled by its beauty with 82 acres of land. They came and started preaching in the mainland. Since then, the popularity of this amazing cave has been increasing. Queen Victoria of England also visited this cave. The Scottish Government is committed to beautification. Now the must item for tourists is Fingal Cave. The interior structure of this cave is such that when the wind moves through it, a strangely beautiful and flute-like sound comes out of this cave. Anyone who approaches this cave on a full moon night and hears this melody will be mesmerized. It seems as if he is staying in a dreamland. The cave is made up of brilliant hexagonal basalt rocks that look as if they were man-made. Maximum height is 138 feet. A long time ago a lava flow from a volcano cooled and formed this shape as it flowed through the sea water. It is currently declared a heritage site belonging to the National Trust of Scotland. Source: Green Earth.

there doesn't seem to be enough blade on that paddle. It's like a narrow Euro blade. And if there's that much flutter when you start, either the paddle is really crappy, or you're doing something wrong. I have no flutter at all starting with my wooden greenland paddle.

Lot of fun! not sure if it's the easiest way but none of those ways are easy I suppose. good laugh anyway. just to let you know NRS paddle float comes with a manual how to re-enter describing most popular way in detail. I kept laughing too when she said she'll wee herself haha. Today in Lee Valley whitewater centre although failed assessment, I managed couple of times to re-enter Grabner Hype inflatable kayak with no paddle float support.
