I hate this thing. In manual mode it rises and stops, but in radio mode it will coast as it should. In wail it has an abrupt change at the lower limit. Overall the sound is shrill and annoying to both vehicle occupants and pedestrians. All the ridiculous sounds other than wail, yelp, Power Call,and hi-lo make it sound like an arcade game not an emergency warning device. Give us back the PA-200 sound!
Not trying to diss on you, genuinely taking tips for when I turn 18 and join the fire department, why didn’t you just get on the shoulder as soon as you were on the highway? I feel like that would’ve saved the panic of everybody on the road

They must left brains at home when just sit there blocking road. Big Riga should stay to one side if see stopping traffic and all leave gaps to cars in front so you can move if need to. You should expect emergency vehicles to be coming behind if in traffic like that. 🤬
They talked a game plan before you got on scene. This is what a lot of departments need to start. This is why this department had water on fire so fast. Game plan ! , ! Can’t say it enough. Communication and be knowing and doing not looking and learning.
Again once i watch the video more .. 10 mins to get on scene witch is ok .. but only truck on scene is a disgrace with yall response. Yal should be 2nd unit on scene with search n rescue.
I appreciate yalls service by all means.. but the way I was trained and everyone and dept is different. But the late response on getting gear on and how slow yall was getting the engine on and information is a slow down ... yall took almost 5 mins just getting in the truck . . Got to get geared up while response to the call. Thanks for your service but I'm sure this a volunteer company on how slow yall got geared up.
