My name is Paul Kim and welcome to my channel! I am a husband, father, and a real estate agent. I relocated my family (with two young children), from a quiet community in Northern California (east of the San Francisco Bay area) across the country to Northern Virginia where I’m originally from! This time around, we moved to Falls Church, a quickly developing city, just outside DC and central to basically everything (Tysons, Arlington, McLean, Fairfax, Alexandria, Springfield, Fairfax, etc.).
Here’s what you can expect from this channel:
- City and community tours - Neighborhood tours - New home construction tours - Cost of living info - Pros and cons of living in this area
…anything and everything related to living in Northern, VA!

I’m moving from New Jersey to Vienna for a job offer in the next month. This video was helpful. Would you happen to know the Acadia Condos on Virginia Blvd? I’m thinking of renting there
@@lifeinnova Comparing commute/neighborhood quality/schools between the two states you will find about 100k different. And you are not commuting to downtown DC, why would you be debating between Maryland or Virginia? If your job in Virignia, Virginia is the best choice. If you live in Maryland, Maryland is your best choice.
Both VA and MD vote democrat so they are both liberal shitholes that are over taxed and over regulated. I've lived in VA most of my life and I can't believe how much it's changed since Bush tripled the size of the war machine and all the libtards moved to VA as Military Industrial Complex Contractors. I wish they would all just leave and take their politics with them. But they won't so I'll be leaving as soon as my daughter graduates HS. Good luck VA ! Seriously, paying thousands of dollars a year just to own a truck?? VA politicians should be in prison!!
That was good. Although all three neighborhoods are next to each other, they really are distinguished by home types. Rosemont is nearly all single homes while Potomac is all new condos with not a single single home. Delray a mix with near mansions to one bedroom bungalows. Potomac also has a metro now.
I've lived in NoVa, Arlington/Shirlington area to be specific. I felt like Vienna was like living in the countryside. We had family there and I found it so dull. I know some people love it, but definitely not for me.
My cousin I grew up with moved to Seattle for Amazon right out of college and he didn’t last a year there, he hated the rain and quite frankly I don’t blame him, I was there in the winter once too and scenery was beautiful but depressing weather and it was so costly, so one day he packed his things and drove across the country and put in a transfer to the Northern Virginia Branch….
