WELCOME I’m a big Star Wars fan... and Light Sabers where one cool thing that kids and adults love. I'm one of those Kids/Adults...lol! Till this day it has remained a fun and exciting past time..now moving into full time. From constructing them, installing them, and now, creating sounds for them. The future is vast with new sounds and builds coming. Thanks for stopping by and seeing what we are all about!
Great looking build! I just picked up the STL for this same chassis and was wondering if you by chance had a recommendation for a battery holder that would fit? I'm not big on wired batteries, personally 😅
@KyberCodex that's a really great question. Unfortunately, the chassis only holds a static battery...as the cover completes it. I'm actually redoing mine after many years of use. Same chassis. There is no real way to modify it due to the space. It would have to be strong if something small was to be designed. I'm not saying it's impossible. I just haven't played with it yet. Wired batteries are great if you get good quality, and the charge port with Kill Key is a great and easy setup. Smart charger, and you're done.😁
@xaikken when you plug in, check the options and devices, list all devices, and see what is coming up. Then, unplug and check the list to see what appears and reappears. If a usb device shows up, you didn't get it into stmbootloader mode using the buttons on the board. If nothing shows up, it could be the, cable, port, changed the wrong driver or, worst case, the board. Disconnect all other devices before trying.
As much as i love this i think in a actual lightsaber i bet the only sounds we would get from a saber based on the king of monsters is mainly a few of the beam sound effects but thats just my thoughts cause even if they were just basic sounds i would be content of having just a lightsaber hilt katana like but curved like ahsokas white blades hilts themed off him
@indi_ediz proffieboard should have all files to make it work. SNv4 board you have to replace the preon from factory and make it associate with the same font.
@@mountainsabers101 can u Maybe do a Tutorial that would be Nice bc im buying 2 soundfonts Form u bc they Are so sick i Need to get them i dont wann do a Mustang i would be happy if u Coups do a Tutorial Ik how to add soundfonts but Not the Bladestyles the ignition
I love how different people can have a different take on the same hilt. The color is gorgeous and so is your work on the chassis and the really cool idea with the brass. Absolutely love it, enjoy them dude!
@@mountainsabers101if you could do dude where’s my car for my Vader and Star Trek 4 for my Luke’s that be perfect I’ll let you know which scenes from dude where’s my car for my Luke’s it pretty much the same scene from yours
If you'd like to install these yourself...here is the link. It's a real fun project. You can still contact me for installations on this item and other items. cults3d.com/en/3d-model/gadget/tron-legacy-identity-disc-proffieboard
Speakers are upside down btw lol! Looks absolutely stunning! Id also reccommend cool white leds for the notches and knubs (ill update the listing in a minute). Also id recommend painting the reflection areas of the inner ring white, unles thats an aesthetic choice, which i dig. And for better holo knub light visibility, paint white the chamber where the pcb led inserts into. Love your work man keep it up! - Nathan Burke AKA creator of this Tron disc
Speakers are facing up..lol.... If they faced down you would not hear them. Thanks for the tips on lighting. So far I like how things are working. New updates to the design have helped with the wiring routing issue. Although I would have liked more space in the chassis for that. :) Thanks again.
@@mountainsabers101 common misconception with sugarcube speakers, in fact youd probably get better sound if you flipped em around, protects em better anyways
I did flip them around. You did realize the cone was facing up? If they face down into the speaker cavity of the chassis you cant hear it..lol ...so it's for sure the correct way facing up. As far as protection I have micro screen that fits over it. Works well.
I'm absolutely blown away by what you created James! Your passion in this community is truly amazing man and I'll always cherish this piece. Thank you so much!
Thanks for the informative video. Just picked up this hilt off of ebay for pretty cheap and want to do an install on it but wasn't sure what chassis to use. I think I'll try this one out. Great video!
