I love Batman sets!! I got all the Batman sets when they were originally released in 2006-2008. This set was a retail for $30. And I would usually buy my sets from my local LEGO brand store.
I love how short and simple this review is! All the info you gave on it’s worth too! One thing you didn’t mention though unless I missed it is scarecrows head glows in the dark. In both sets he shows up in. It’s a nice effect that’s really well.
Got this set incomplete and very dusty from eBay earlier this year for $30. No minifigs and some pieces missing. A few of the brown pieces broke disassembling the set to wash the pieces. I super wish I had gotten this set back in the day when it was on shelves. Complete sets were going for $300 plus last time I checked, new in box even more.
This set in Australia is a Shell Gas Station and the 1978 one was different to the 1983 one with the parking bay plus the Fire Station from 1978 was red with white windows not yellow with red windows with an American flag not the regular Lego flag. A fun fact is that national Lego flags existed from the USA to UK plus a few Northern European Countries being represented in addition to an Imperial Chinese flag.
People keep the figs for their mocs but don't have space for all the sets so the sell the builds to have room for the next wave. At the same time, some people only care for the parts so they buy SW sets knowing they can get half their money spent per set back by selling the figs. I personally keep it all. I need the parts for mocs but i need figs to populate the moc and their positions will help tell the story
This was my second Legoland set as a kid. My first was the public works station. The box was damaged years ago but I still have the set. Been collecting ever since.
Great video, as always! I love the big Hogwarts, but I didn't know that it only takes parts of certain sets. I thought it was more like the old one when Philosophers Stone and Chamber of Secrets came out back in the day.
