I will be doing my first epoxy pour on my first skateboard in a few days...you may not see this but I'm curious about at what point to remove tape from the underside or from over the holes??? I dont want to end up getting stuck solid under the resin and didnt know if you remove it when its fully cured or if you dont have any issues removing it? Any advice would be great! THANKS!

So you only have to put one layer of acrylic down without having to go over it? I have to at least go over the same colour three times. What am I doing wrong? I use Liquitex basic acrylic, reeves intro acrylic and Atelier interactive acrylic
Another litte tip you can use is fineline tape if you want to keep your black outline. you follow the lines and this tape lays out so smooth and easy. then lay in your other tapes on top and your paper. Also for your clear you can use your 1st 2 coats with 2k clear and hit your final with epoxy. sanding in between that way you dont spend so much on epoxy. Love the art. glad I found your chanel
I know how it is to struggle to get your art out into the public I to struggle with the same issue and have to work full time so a lot of the time I am either to tired , don't have time, are simply not feeling creative. Long winded way of saying I really hope you get the recognition you deserve and are able to do art full time .

A little tip, leave your black work till the end. Tape up along the edge of your outer colour, go mad with the spray paint, then outline everything. You’re then free to customise the outer line, making it easier to ignore any dodgy masking errors.
Unfortunately, it was taken down and his work was removed from the piece since his art was a little too close to the work of another artist. It wasn’t intentional but definitely a learning moment that a lot of us have to go through when learning about using image references.
Hello, I ordered from your site and received the package, but the epoxy is not in gel form like this. It is in liquid form like water. Why? I did everything in the manual correctly.
Hi Ali! Both parts of the Makerpoxy resin are liquid and will thicken and harden as curing occurs - when you combine them correctly in a 1:1 ratio. But, neither part (A or B) should be as thin as water to begin with. During delivery, did the package freeze or get too hot by chance? That can mess with the resin and make it not work right. You may also want to get in contact with TotalBoat customer service if you feel that you received incorrect products. Without me being able to see what’s going on with your resin and having more background info from you it’s a little hard to diagnose the issue but I hope this helps a little. 🙂
Im really glad Ten Hundred started this art collab. The rule about handing off the painting to a channel with less subs is really awesome. It's such a great way to connect with new artists. I subscribed for sure.
What do the back of your boards look like after you're all done? Do you tape off to have an "end point" or paint it black? Or does it just end wherever it ends since it's meant to be the back of the display?
I tape the edges of the back so they have a defined edge once peeled off. Then I sand the back clean and hand-sign since it’s a piece of artwork for wall hanging. Hope that helps! 😁
