Hi there. My motor keeps jamming. Noticed that the ice was building up on right side, which I now know thanks to you that one side needs adjusting. However the icing side stops turning all together now! What do you suggest that it can be? And how do I go on with repairing it? Thank you
Hi Ozkan Never test with plain water - it will destroy the machine. I find this problem is nearly always product mixing related (or that has caused the problem) If a barrel is over freezing the first thing is to make sure the product has a high enough "Brix" rating (sugar content) as if too much water the machine will freeze up and ultimately stop. This can cause damage to the spiral or gearbox assembly. If the other barrel works fine then just drain the product and swap sides to see if the problem swaps sides. Following this simple test you could have any number of issues *Incorrect adjustment of the ice hardness control *Faulty microswitch on gearbox or incorrect adjustment *Gearbox Motor failing - can't turn product when icing *Gas Solenoid stuck (open) - requires refrigeration mechanic to replace *The inside of the spiral is worn causing the spiral to stop when the ice starts to form but the metal drive shaft / gearbox is still turning *The gearbox has a damaged gear (teeth torn or split) and it stops turning the metal drive shaft once the load of the ice starts * Damaged spiral can jam on stainless evaporator (freezer)
Is it possible to get a replacement back rear plate- the one that was removed first. My machine's one was tightened too hard and cracked, proshed. Is a single Friuzia delicious brand make. Thanks
