Quincy/Overshown/Nakobe/Edgerrin/Henley/Dodson. Need to start 3 out of those. Also Zach Allen/Landry/Christian Elliss/Ojulari for DL. Big play over tackle scoring
Not yet. Bernard is coming back, so that's a bump down for Dorian, but he's more certain at this point than Cooper, who has topped out at 65% of snaps this season. That LB room is crowded in Green Bay with Wilson, Walker, and McDuffie in the mix. In Buffalo, it's just Dorian and Bernard.
As another Vikings homer, I agree with the take on Pace vs Cashman. I fully expect Cashman to regain the green dot when healthy (our offense just runs significantly better with him at the helm). Question for you as I've been struggling with start/sit decisions. What order do you prioritize (for the LB position) recent stats, matchup, internal team competition, etc?
We agree, just hope Pace isn't shelved entirely when Cashman is back. He's too explosive. For LBs, prioritize those with a clear path to snaps (preferably 90% or more) and then matchup is the tiebreaker. Don't chase stats because that can come from someone who isn't seeing the volume for their production to be consistent.
Good day gentlemen! In regards to Al-Shaair, Christian Harris is on waivers and my question is, would you drop Shaair and grab Harris? Current LBs include: TJ Edwards, AVG, EJ Speed, N. Bolton, H. Reddick and D. Lloyd. Thanks and really enjoy the show!
As of 10-28-24 Devin Lloyds pff grade is 73.3 and Ventrell Milllers is 55.5. Lloyd has a better grade than Roquan Smith, Patrick Queen, Demario Davis, Geemain Pratt, Lavonte David, Okereke, Edwards and Edmunds from Chicago, Tranquill, Campbell, Luvu, Dodson, Pace and Ernest Jones. Let's stop acting like he's a bum. And Josh Hines-Allens 85.8 is far better than Travon Walker's 68.9. The HUGE PROBLEM in Jax is the dumbass coaching and I can't believe Pederson and (whatever the dumbass DC's name is) have jacked this season up so badly. There's a ridiculous amount of talent on this team and the fact that they have the same record as the Patriots/Jets and Giants (after 2night) tells you everything u need to know about Pederson and this ridiculous scheme of rotating LBs like they're hockey fwds really is. My point? Devin Lloyd and Josh Hines-Allen aren't the problem, not even close. They're the solution. The problem in Jax is awful coaching across the board and a billion dollar quarterback who seems to throw ints and funble the ball whenever his team needs him most 🤘

J. Verse was just dropped to waivers (can’t believe it). Wondering if I should use my faab to get him. I do have strong DL’s already though (D. Lawrence, B Mafe, K. White, Z. Allen). Who should I drop? I was leaning towards Allen. I am in a dynasty league.
@@theidpshow I could drop one of my LBs. Maybe N. Dean, D. Williams, or T. Wallace? The reason I wanted to keep Dean is because I’m a Z. Baun owner. In a tough spot here, but I don’t want to miss the opportunity on Verse.

I take it Andrew Preston gives a bunch of money, but I appreciate a little help if willing. Would you prioritize players like Burns, Hunter, Gary, and Verse over Tykee? Would you take Tykee over Mckinney, Nubin, or Brisker?

I traded Simpson and Pace for Christian Harris and a 3rd. Overloaded at lb and owner needed major help at LB. Sucks Harris is still hurt but I don’t need him, but always like him and wanted some stock in him
Like Verse talent for “real” football. his metrics are off the charts. want to roster him, but already have TJ Watt with LB designation on NFL app. is it wise to have 2 guys like that at Lb? tackle heavy league
No, in a tackle-heavy league, lean on off-ball LBs (aside from outliers like TJ Watt). And talk to your commish about switching to true position next season.

Like this trade long term for sure - Iosivas is a player that you don't want to put into your line up and Wallace is a nice young piece to build around and that 3rd could become a great pick to combine in a future trade
